    Komadori points towards that pit he made that had fill a little bit with water. “Give it an hour or two and we can scoop the crem of the top as for food we will just have to see what’s out there.” Komadori starts climbing the cliff upwards and he then looks of to his spren Noko “hey can you go scout a little bit, see if you can find either food or Sharp” Noko replies “sure what do i get out of it?” “Your a ball of light that I pulled from the realm of thought. What could you possible need? Just go.” Said Komadori Noko, dispite not having any eye, rolles her eyes and leaves

    Komadori sits down “well nothing we can do until this storm passes” he try’s to sharpen his axe against the wet stone

    Komadori pushes his hand against the grown and using his powers makes a small pit in the ground, about barrel size. He then pushes his controls father and makes a piece of stone push out into the storm in a way that will mean water will run down into the hole. He looks up at Ezrium. “You seen Sharp by any chance?” @Canada Lover

    Komadori ran with his package under his arm, desperately looking around to find shelter for the approaching high storm. He sees Ezrium climbing the side of a cliff to a cave and decides to follow @Canada Lover

    Hey, I was wondering if you want to talk about our characters for the hunger games rpg. I mean stuff like background and why/how we are an alliance. I was thinking we met at the opening ceremony’s and decided our skill would work well together.

    Also would you be open to more people joining our alliance. I don’t have anyone in mind but we could let people know that we are open.

    Ok so I got a good amount to say. First is my costume is almost done. My sandals came and my spear is almost done. Second I somehow convinced my mother to read stormlight after years of trying and she is enjoying it. How I managed this was by showing her all the cool photos from last dragonsteel of all the cosplayers and since she likes making costumes she decided to go. Day one she will be going as Navani and day two as Veil. What is really funny about all of this is that she still say that Way of Kings is to big and that it drag alone. And I just found out that she doesn’t like either Shallan or Jasnah and that she will sometimes skip ahead a little bit to get through those section quicker. I am now conflicted. On one hand I love my mother so much for trying and really giving her all in an attempt to be apart of the community I am. She is even going to Sanderson 101 and the convention. But on the other I can’t ignore this grieves sin of skipping some of the book and not liking Jasnah or Shallan. I mean I kind of get it because we don’t see a lot of the real them in the first book and shallan grows so much in book two, but it still hurts. 

    So basically what I am asking is has anyone else gone through this and side question, is anyone else bringing family/friends to dragonsteel who are just not quite Sanderson fans yet?

      So @Edema Rue first piece of advice is for your first time cosplaying choose something simple with one show piece in there. For example last year I went as Spook. All I needed for that was some basic close that could pass as old fashioned and a wool blanket I used as a cloak. The show piece was that I got some cool looking canes and I wore a blind fold the entire time. So basically go for someone like Vin or Vail, instead of Shallan or Venli.

      Second piece of advice is don’t worry about shoes. What I mean by this is that its more important to were shoes that are comfortable then that fit you costume perfectly. When in doubt just wear black Nikes or something similar.

      finely use YouTube for ideas and if you need help making stuff. And if you don’t want to make stuff try thrift stores near you.

    No, I have done the same. Not two ones that are limited number I mean but I do use multiple tickets just to keep my schedule nice and organized

    Name: Komadori Age (13-18): 16 Gender: male Order: Willshaper Ideals sworn: 1st and 2nd Spren’s Name: Noko Weaponry skills: Trained decently in the hatchet, both close combat and throwing them. Other skills: He is a very good acrobat and skilled at parkour, he also has some woodsman skill, like basic survival stuff

    There is also a huge pile of supplies such as weapons food and other gear in the middle of the arena. The arena is several miles across and is made to look like a specific theme (forest, tundra, swamp, etc)

    So, yes, you need to get tickets to all the events you want to go to. I would recommend getting the welcome ceremony for sure and what ever else you find interesting. Make sure to also schedule breaks so you can relax, trust me you are going to want it
