ok guys its been a minute

im working at a daycare rn

anyways i came on here because i need advice

so

i'm sick

i've been having migraines, body aches, cough, congestion, etc. for the past three-ish days

i have work scheduled tomorrow from 8-5 but should i call out sick?

i'm over the worst of the sickness now like it could be gone by tomorrow

but also i would be working with kids under the age of one

so i should probably call out right?

i also just started this job like two or three weeks ago

what should i do chat

  You a) do not want to be dealing with kids while you're tired from being sick
  
  And b) don't want to deal with the wrath of parents whose children may get sick from you, and who then have to deal with sick infants

  i was lowkey so dead all day today and i literally was in bed THE WHOLE TIME

  ok update: i texted my boss last night & she asked for me to come in regardless (we're severely understaffed) and then if i was still feeling bad after working for a little bit then i could go home
  
  i ended up being fine for the day so cheers to that
  
  and when i got home i took an everything shower so that felt amazing
