    We have like 2500 kids... three jazz bands. We used to have three jazz band pianists, but now we only have two. The saxophones and percussion carry us, though. I think our percussion was declared best in state or something. Literally every room has a piano or two, but THEY WON'T LET ME BRING A BETTER ONE IN!! This poor piano is so quiet I can barely hear it when I'm playing as loud as I can.

    Hmm. Well that's funny. I was only crying during band. and geography. And piano practice. But they don't know about those. Stupid school, sending out emails that even the most oblivious parents can't ignore.

    A girl I really looked up to passed away recently. Other people who knew her better are suffering a lot more right now, but it still hurts. This is the third person our school has lost in as many months. What kind of world do we live in, where death is so willingly embraced? Why is this allowed to happen? I'm sad and angry and confused.
