But doesn't duralumin cause ALL of the other metal to burn away? So all that cadmium would be burnt in the space of a second, after which the bubble would drop. So the effects of all the cadmium in your stomach would be condensed.

I love minecraft! And it's definitely about emergent gameplay and how as you go about surviving your first night, your mind is populated by numerous ideas and plans on stuff to build. Which in turn leads to more ideas and more time playing the game. Wastes a lot of time

I've always found the ribbon layout confusing, took me forever to get used to it when it was incorporated into Word... Still, I don't think it will bother me that much with it in explorer. I use hotkeys and right-clicks for everything I do so it shouldn't affect me in the usability department.

I couldn't tell from the rules, maybe I'm being stupid but do you have to submit a chapter to be on the email list? As I'd like to read and critique some of the work that's being discussed so far, as just from the topic descriptions and titles I've gotten pretty interested. However I don't have anything to submit. Maybe in a few weeks as I've been writing up some ideas for a book recently, but as of now, I've got nothing.

Not for sure here, as I haven't read any Marvel comics, but I'd assume it's the X-men that have prevented him from conquering the world. Right? Seems logical to me at least.

Wow that's surprising. To me at least he's become very much a part of the Apple image, whenever I think of Apple I generally think of the iPod and him. Mr. Cook is going to have a tough time living up to him as his successor.

I know that this is a ways back in the topic, but I felt compelled to mention that I freaking love Munchkin! To get back on topic I'll say that I'm playing minecraft and LoZ: The Wind Waker. Minecraft is completely addicting and wind waker's one of the best games ever. What else is there to say? -

I have very little experience with Java, less than my small amount of experience with C++. So I can't help you much on that one, sorry... However I decided to look around and found this. Not sure if it will work, as I don't know what it means. But it says it clears the DOS screen in Java. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_to_clear_dos_screen_in_JAVA

I've been learning C++ for a while so I'm used to the DOS format. As all my programs are in that format as well. The game is simple but fairly entertaining. You should definitely clear the screen more so that the text doesn't just scroll down forever.

Seems odd and not honorable at all for Honor to go around killing various people on the battlefield, such as Cenn. However I like the idea behind the theory, and I'm definitely interested in that shardbearer.

I'm still struggling with how the whole flying-by-throwing-coins thing would work out in a gameplay sense... I feel like it would take a lot of work and cleverness to pull that off without it seeming at least a little clumsy and awkward. Also I wonder how you'll choose which metal to burn and when. I feel like a xenoblade type game would work well, but that could just be me.

Oh cool, I for some reason took 'cosmere' as meaning that all his books were part of a multiverse of sorts and not part of the same universe. Makes me even more interested to see how they'll interact.

Are the planets each book in the cosmere take place on part of individual universes separate from each other? Or are they planets in the same solar system, galaxy, or universe? And whether or not they are, do you think the futuristic trilogy will include space travel?

Seems like it would make quite a mess if a persons clothes suddenly started to try and kill them It's been a long time since I've read warbreaker... That magic system is really overpowered in some ways if you have enough breath. Like Susebron. Luckily I feel like he's to naive to put it to full use.

I finished The Name of the Wind a couple of days ago. Went straight on to The Wise Man's Fear, which I finished in one day. Safe to say I enjoyed it quite a bit . Right now I'm getting ready to start GRRM's A Song of Ice and Fire for the first time.

Guess I'll stop lurking around the forums, and make my first post here. I got a G+ account yesterday and so far it seems pretty neat. Hoping some of my fb friends jump on over so I have some more people to talk to. I'm Trey Leuenberger on G+ by the way. Oh and does the service remind anyone else of a mixture of facebook and twitter?
