I agree and in the same way Kaladin really connects to the idea of protecting people considering how he used to be a surgeon and the rest of his back story.

I agree though I personally think that the windrunners have ideals that make the most sense(Having lies as ideals doesn't make sense to me and being a law upholding robot does not sound like a good choice, edgedancers have ideals that make sense but don't really accomplish much.), and who wouldn't want to fly and stick things to other things.

The Knights Radiant have them, Renarin is a voidbinder and it seams like he has them, But what about the fused do they have them? Do the Fused have ideals, they have different orders or at least different forms of power, so do they have ideals to go with their power or are the Fused just different forms that come with power and some times insanity.

The beads are made of investiture with the souls of objects infusing them in the same way stormlight would infuse a normal sphere(I think).

Why Hoid declined a shard/can a shard get more shards?

I actually agree with all of you on this. Also ruin could not claim the power of the well of ascension without a human, but maybe this was a thing unique to him and preservation, though the shard was still in use (even if preservation was barely there). So basically shards cannot be claimed unless the vessel has been killed and once that has happened anyone can claim it. -
what order of knight radiant would each of you want to be(don't base your answer off of what power you want, instead think about their ideals)?

Hoid declined a shard when he was offered one at one point, did he do this so that at a later date he could take them all at once? When Vin was preservation her and ruin couldn't touch without consequence so does that mean that shards can't get another shard well they have one, this would make sense because when Sazid had no shard he was able to take up two shards with no problem.

Hoid might have not only done it for power he might have wanted to do it just because of the spren like how Kaladin wouldn't change orders even if he wanted different powers because of his connection to the spren. Also it might be like duralumin making his light weaving powers greater. -
So Hoid is not a shard, that's always made me think, what can he do. Hoid has an assortment of powers but I have a feeling we don't know of them all, for example Hoid is both a mistborn and a light weaver but when Yasna threatened him with a shard blade he said that he doubted it could kill him, but from what I know with only the powers he has, a shard blade would still be very deadly. So from what Hoid implied he is much more powerful then we know, so that raises a question what are those powers and also where would Hoid fall on the power scale, he would come up higher then a radiant and an allomancers for sure but would he be higher lower or equal to a shard? Could Hoid be more or just as powerful as Adonalsium?

I just realized that I put this in the wrong spot... any way I have only read the stormlight and mistborn series but of all the books I would say that my favorite is Oathbringer
