Vale leads Jeffrey and Vapor out of the library and down long, strange looking streets, where people walk along the buildings and doors occasionally open below them. He finds an alley and opens a portal out of view. "All right, we got here. Let's head through and we should be safe" @Vapor @xinoehp512 -
Jay looks over at the newcomer, but sees it's being handled. If it's really serious, there's probably someone with a healing Aspect nearby. Injuries like this are not uncommon when you give teenagers weapons. He also notes the Raodean currency Janice passes over. That certainly doesn't rule out the possibility of her being Talon, but most Talon operatives are from Sabir, Roanoke, or Myria, so it is less likely.

Jay takes in Janice's appearance, but it's too hard to see any details. The bartender turns towards her. "Well, since this is Halcyon, we'll take any national currency. So, 40 Raos, 4 Unis, 13 Notes, 15 Credits, or" he checks a price list behind him "27 Amprentas. Any of those you have."

Jay's hand drifts towards his weapon. "Katana, huh? They haven't won the festival in years." "Nope. I don't put too much stock in rumors-" "Too much of your stock is ale?" The bartender stops for a second, looks at Jay, and then bursts out laughing. "I suppose so!"

Jay mutters "Don't catch their eye, but keep me between you two. Let me know if they leave" In a normal voice he says "Hey, barkeep, have you heard any bets for the festival? I think Claymore is in for it again this year, but I wouldn't put money on it myself." The barkeeper says "Well, a lot of people have been talking about Katana taking this year. Apparently Elwood took on a bunch of new teachers and won't tell anyone what kind of training they're doing. But I still have half a mind to agree with you."

Vale walks past the librarian and motions for Vapor to follow him. "If you want to check something out tell me now. Otherwise we need to go now." He reaches a wall and starts walking up it towards the outside door.

A librarian walks along the ceiling, steps onto the side of a bookshelf, and then down to where we are. "Can I help you three?" "Just browsing, I think." Vale says

Vale opens the door on the floor/wall and steps out into a library. Similarly to the storage room, the walls and ceilings are used as well as the floor for bookshelves, chairs, and tables. Vale starts walking out towards a door on the ceiling

"We'd be doing the same thing, hopefully. I wouldn't expect him to be able to catch up to us, but I don't know anything about him." Vale looks around the room hesitantly. "Should we make the last part of our journey?"

"That's not too much of a concern with a Prime God. If he doesn't know about it, he can procure someone that does. But if you'd rather train with Nath, that's ok. The important part for now is figuring out what to do with the assassin."

"Well, that depends. We have to find out if that assassin is still chasing us, and if they are we have to deal with it. I thought we were planning to stay in safety for a little while. Something about training you in the mindscapes? Whatever happens, though, we'll have to head back on a similar route, although I think we might be able to take a safer one this time."

Vale holds out a hand to steady her. "Careful. Like I said, a bit crazy."

Vale comes through the portal. "Oh yeah, I forgot this place is a bit weird. Gravity is based on flat surface area instead of mass. Gets kind of funky when you go downtown to their skyscrapers. On the plus side, nothing should try and kill us here, and it's just one more jump to Prime's Realm. Knock on wood, or at least what passes for wood here." Vale walks down to the corner of the room and steps onto the wall. It acts similarly to as if he was Lashed in that direction. "Take a sec to get used to it, it's rather disorienting"

On the other side is a very different world. It doesn't seem to obey normal laws of physics. There is no light source but you can still see the walls of the room we dropped into. There are boxes on the ground but also on the ceiling and walls. The boxes are stacked on top of each other in ways that should be impossible even with some kind of Lashing. The door is on the floor based on your current perspective. On closer inspection, the walls are made of a grained surface that looks like paneled wood, but feels like steel.

"Well, hopefully that doesn't come back to bite us." Vale creates the reality model, like he did in Shadesmar. "It'd be hard to find her again. I can't see her passage out of here." He dismisses it. "All right, next portal hop before something else comes out to eat us." Vale forms another portal and motions into it. "After you"

Vale drags the hunters to their feet. "Get out of here. You didn't see anything." "Yeah, yes sir. We didn't see anything." "You bet you won't. If you say anything I'll find you later" "Yes sir" They run off into the forest. Vale turns to Vapor and Jeffrey. "Do we need to look for her? The point was to get you three to safety."

One of the hunters manages to get up. "What happened? Did anyone recognize that Fey?" Vale comes into the clearing. "What did you do?"

Vale darts to the right and stays low. He looks around a tree at the clearing where the flash came from. @xinoehp512

"That doesn't seem good." Vale takes his gun out again. "Who's there?" "Let's head in. Vapor, go left. Try not to get spotted"

I missed it, dang it. Well, here's a bump to this thread in hopes we find other people at the very least. Also, I had an argument about some color identities. What do you guys think? Vin=Red/Green Sazed=Blue/Green Kelsier=Red/Black Elend=Blue/White Rashek=Black/White Spook=Green/White Marsh=White/Red

"Right. They were fighting the beast before we led it away. Now they see another quarry. Over here, through these trees." Vale darts through some bushes, then puts his weapon away and his hands up. "Civilians are in the area!" he calls.
