"Oh." She touches the amulet again. "Sounds like this went badly." She buries her face in her hands and mutters "Should...Marin Sed-" before starting to cry softly.

"I'm from, uh, Fayardelain." she self-consciously tugs at the sleeves of her cloak. "It's a smaller village near Caemlyn. Where did you say we were again?"

"What in the world are you talking about? Shardblades? Bonds? Cosmere? I knew I'd gone too far, but I didn't know places this strange existed. I'm Miera."

The girl checks a few of the men, but it's plain they're very dead. She takes off her hood, and her hair falls out in an intricate braid.

She takes a deep breath. "No... I..." She fingers an amulet around her neck for a moment, and then calms down. "I'm ok. It's ok. Are any of them still alive?"

"But... who did this?" The girl sinks to her knees. "This isn't supposed to happen in Elendel"

A girl's head pokes into the alley. "So what's-" she gasps and looks away.

"She can choose her own path. With the death of one of my own, I feel I'm obligated to aid you. Vale, would you mind finding Patch?" Vale nods and opens a portal away.

Jay looks around at the devastation around them. "Luckily it doesn't look like anyone's hurt. Can I help you up?"

@Channelknight Fadran Jay very cautiously edges towards Janice. "Miss? Are you all right?"

From out on the street, a girl's voice calls "Hello? What's going on?"

"I try not to get involved in things like this. I will defend my realms as I always have. If you wish, however, I can send you one of my Foundations to aid you in your quest for vengeance. My vows prevent me from interfering too much, and my energies will be better spent defending-" he winces, an odd expression for his face. Vale breathes in sharply. "Who fell?" "Chryslyn is no longer with us. Reordar must have been attacked." He turns to her. "I hope you understand my stance."

"I had not..." his eyes dim again for a fraction of a second. "Not even a whisper. But..." dim again, and Vale puts a hand to his head. "I can see the effects now. So many realities affected."

"I-I'm fine" he pushes himself to his feet, a bit unsteady. "You ok? I've never seen anything like that"

"Your warnings will be heard in this hall. Although if it's about the Cessant incursion on the Strione realm, I already heard about it from the Council"

Jay throws up a shield instinctively around the explosion, which channels some of the force down into the ground or up into the sky. His Veil holds for a moment before faltering and he falls to the ground, gasping.

"If she says to stay away, you should probably stay away." Jay squats down, about five feet away. "Miss?" @Channelknight Fadran

Vale starts and looks around. Prime nods. "Granted, but be warned. I don't take demands lightly." Time seems to stop for a split second as the realm's defenses open. To Vapor, he says "I'm unable to tell right now. We'll find out. When they enter my realm they will have to accept some of the laws here, which are partly under my control. It is unlikely they have any ill intent towards you, and if they do I should be able to protect you."

Jay stomps on the ground and everyone is forced away from Janice. "Stop!"

Prime nods. "I can shelter you here for a time. Not forever, but I expect that you would want to return to your friends sooner rather than later. The assassin..." some of the intensity in his eyes fades for a moment. "He is not following you. He is elsewhere, if that changes your decision at all."

Prime gestures. "You may rise. Vale, don't tell me this is all that's left of Fadran's Fellowship." "No, I brought these two here because they were being chased by an assassin. He had already overcome the other members of the Fellowship, I didn't feel as though I could deal with him." "Do you know why these two specifically?" "Not entirely. Vapor has potential in a powerful magic. I believe Jeffrey was trying to research the magic." "Do you two have anything to add?" As the god turns his eyes on Vapor and Jeffrey, they can feel the world shift slightly, as if they are somehow moving through time at a different angle and speed. His face is impossible to place except for his eyes, which are the same shade as Vale's, but a thousand times more intense, as if they are the power source of all blues in the universe. @xinoehp512 @Vapor

Jay slips out of the pub, waves goodbye to Fish, and hurries in the direction he saw Janice go in. He's not being sneaky, exactly, but there are enough people out that he could blend in. He makes sure to keep an eye on Aryanna and any Sylven he sees near them.

On the other side of this last portal is a throne room. Vale teleports directly in the doorway, on top of a violet carpet leading to the throne at one end. As Vapor walks through the portal, she can see a man closing a different portal on the other side of the throne room, then stepping up and sitting down on the throne. As Jeffrey steps through, he might notice that the pillars and walls are still building themselves and the ceiling opens up to an infinite abyss, although the ceiling is growing together like a stone amoeba. Vale steps through, closes his portal, and bows to the god now seated before them.
