"I think it's still alive..." The head of some kind of beast looms over the ruins of the church, trying to find who delivered it so much pain

"Just a moment" The plane dips below the clouds and the island of Talongarde comes into view. It's hovering about 500 feet above the ocean waves thanks to the enormous crystals protruding from the base. The top of the island is covered in small aircraft, armaments, and concrete buildings surrounded by soldiers barely visible from all the way up here. Medrano turns to us. "Somehow, Talon engineers have fitted an engine of sorts to the bottom of Talongarde, feeding off the Impulse qhoral keeping it aloft. If we can sabotage that, the whole island should crash into the waves, crippling their war effort with minimal casualties to actual lives." Jay nods and steps to the door that just opened. "Ready to drop"

"Got it" Jay steps to the door of the plan. "Want me to carry you down, Janice? Or do you think you can land safely?"

"Just a few moments" Jay sticks out his leg, slightly perplexed. Medrabo shrugs. "Sorry" Jay reaches over to comfort her. "It's all right, I'll be with you. It's as safe as you can be"

"Probably whatever you just threw a bomb at." Harmony starts walking towards the church, much more warily this time, as the roaring continues

Time skips Medrano wakes everyone in the ship up. "We're nearing the coordinates we intercepted. Everyone who's going into Talongarde, get ready to drop in."

All the zombies suddenly collapse, and a roar sounds throughout the town

"Troops are gathering there. Terrorist cells that have guarded their turf for years have all of a sudden disappeared and been tracked to the ocean. We don't know exactly where Talongarde is, but we've intercepted messages that might be coordinates. One of my best operatives got out a coded message that one of their top assassins has come back to Talongarde for the first time in years. They've kidnapped scientists and researchers who specialize in many different disciplines. It's obvious to anyone watching that they're planning something big, and we don't know what yet."

Alvyer walked onto the harbor dock, trying not to run and betray his slowly settling panic. He'd known humans were dangerous, he didn't know that there would be things here even the humans were afraid of. The water was calming though, reminding him of the Far Sea back on his planet. Although it was the wrong color. He sat on the side of the dock and, taking off his shoes, dangled his feet in the briny ocean.

Medrano sits down at the controls. "We're hearing whispers from Talongarde. There's been developments. Of what kind we don't know. I think we need to move in now. But if you're not well..." "I'm fine to carry out the plan"

As the plane sets down, Jay tries to stand up straight like he isn't in total pain. A door opens in the side of the cockpit and Medrano steps out, along with the girl, Sophie, if you remember them from the train at all.

Jay's scroll beeps and he smiles. "Looks like our ride is here, gang" Overhead, a jet touches starts circling the group.
