  1. Definitely (Mwahahahaha) And I'm just now realizing I'm probably the oldest person here... Anyway, welcome, Veilure. Make sure that your 2 and 2 make a pickle and you should be fine here Also, don't double post if you can help it.
  2. "That brings up another point. What are we doing about Wyrn? I know Herate promised she'd work with him. But we surely can't let that situation stand for too long."
  3. Chrysler nods and starts tracing a simple rune in the air, leaving behind a trail of dust as she does so. While it doesn't seem magical yet, it does hang in the air much longer than it should otherwise. When she finishes, the rune flashes blue and hangs in front of her, the dust fitting itself into the pattern quickly, like a magnet with iron filings.
  4. "Great" Chrysler pulls out some rune dust from her pack and drops it into Andante's hand. "This is the first shield spell I learned. I still use it all the time, so this will always be useful for you. We're going to give it a few tries and then I want you to try and Call the rune, ok?"
  5. "All right, that's good. Hmm... how would you like to learn some defensive spells?" @Ookla the Grammatical
  6. "All right, well... did you end up finding a camera?" "Fortunate we don't just have to use mortal armies, then. Is there a way we can isolate it away from civilians and our soldiers?"
  7. Vale taps at the command tent's door flap. "May we enter, Fadran?" Chrysler smiles at Andante. "What do you think, you want to go sit in on a strategy meeting or go learn how to blow stuff up?"
  8. "As far as I can tell, just one disaster after another. Herate wanted us to help her with a revolution here, but now apparently she's given herself up. If we're still planning a revolution, this is as bad as that time on Syderon." Chrysler shoots him a look. "We won on Syderon" "We had Deren on Syderon" "Am I not as good as Deren?" "He's got a unique talent. And that's not the point"
  9. Edward Clipper had been having a good day before he found a sphinx perched on top of his houseboat that demanded he solve a riddle about spies or something.
  10. "This is Stephen Vale. He's grumpy but he's also kind of like my manager so he gets a pass." Vale snorts but cracks a smile. "So, kid. What were you all up to without me?"
  11. "Andante! Glad you're all right!" Chrysler calls. "This your newest protégé?" "In a matter of speaking. We didn't get to do much protégé-ing"
  12. Harmony starts humming a calm melody that seems to seep into everyone's minds and make them feel trusting and safe.
  13. Signing up . I've played this before and it's lots of fun but I'm not too good at it
  14. "That's definitely the best idea. I've met the odd worldhopper in my time but you all might take the cake."
  15. I've been stalking this thread to join next game, just so y'all know
  16. Going far into the north lands, Rephrin uses some power to create a cache of magical treasures and a temple full of traps to guard them. The treasures are as following: The Immortal's Font: The holder of this cup can tap into the godly power of Rephrin to use small portions of my power like a god would, but only if they are worthy of that power. Heaven's Blade: This sword gleams with light equal to the courage of the one who wields it. It's unmistakable to honorable people as a symbol of trust and anyone who believes in the ideals of heroism will be drawn to join their cause. The Guardian's Shield: This shield is bolstered by more than just steel. A wielder of this shield will find themselves deflecting impossibly powerful hits back at their foe, and having the ability to move at impossible speeds to defend their comrades. Rephrin also uses some power to spread legends of these treasures into the already existing nations.

I'm thankful for the stories that bring us all together and the ones that make us all different.
  18. General Kenobi! On the first point, my train of thought was a little bit more along the lines of privacy and whether the Avengers are a business and can charge for saving people, or whether Superman can sue someone for wearing Kryptonite jewelry (as some examples) All those supervillain things make sense
