Chromium wipes all investure from something, right? So that means you could wipe metalminds? They store investure, just a very particular type, correct? I might be getting this wrong, but that’s pretty overpowered.

Oathbreaker is one that is amazing if you want to learn more about the shards and the magic system on Roshar as a whole, but it is kund of like Harry Potter’s order of the Phoenix. You get smacked silly with all the information that gets thrown at you, but it connects a lot of holes in your knowledge. This was a book I lost interest in halfway through, read another book, came back to it and restarted, and liked a whole lot. It also is much more involved in the cosmere and is something that might be a bit confusing if you don’t know all of that jazz. But overall, it is a fun read that leaves you wanting more. It has fun dialogue and really goes in depth with each character’s personality(s) and is an insanely good addition to the cosmere. You should carry on, but a break is a good idea probably.

I have recently received the mistborn adventure game, and I believe the information about certain metals there is canon. It does say it expands on the information of the mistborn novels and explains more about things not touched in the books. So I think it is canon. I have heard it reiterated multiple times that we do not exactly know how Nicrosil Feruchemy works, but the mistborn adventure game seems to have the answers (if it is canon). it says in the Nicrosil section that Nicrosil storing can transform a stored characteristic within another metalmind you have and make it raw, generic investure that can be used to add more investure to another tapped characteristic. This allows you to transform your wakefulness into health, or your warmth into age. it further goes on to say that if you use enough Nicrosil, you can transform other’s stored abilities in their metalminds into raw investure, basically getting rid of some of the stuff stored in that metalmind. if this is canon knowledge, this means that any feruchemist can be immortal, and any feruchemist can regain immense amounts of health, sort of like a gold compounder. I’m still not entirely sure if this is canon information or not, but I would like do get clarification.

This much is probably true. As as I understand it, the only difference between stormlight, breath, or other forms of investure is just the shards presence and its effect on the surrounding investure. So theoretically, you could be a radiant with no limits on your powers or hav infinite breaths if you have breaths or are born/squired as a radiant, right? Maybe that’s the purpose of Nicrosil compounding. Other than unsealed metalminds, of course.

I am currently rereading the stormlight archive books and I remembered how nightblood works like a Shardblade because it stores so much investure. That, in extension, means that a Shardblade is so deadly because of the amount of investure it has in it, right? we don’t know too much about Nicrosil ferrings, but they store investure. If you compound that, then you just begin gaining more and more investure. If you tap all of the Nicrosilmind, that means you now have a ton of investure in you. If you store enough, you could theoretically get to Shardblade levels of investure, or would you need a vessel to concentrate that investure into a purpose, like a sword slashing people’s soul. Would that mean you just need to have a Nicrosil sword acting as a nicrosilmind? then again, people holding a ton of breath can’t do that, so maybe what things do with a ton of investure has to do with what it wants, like with soul casting with radiants.

I reread mistborn yesterday and I was wondering how does Adien know the number of stops to the dock? i know he knows the number of steps to Teod, but even he didn’t know the number of steps to the dock. After he said he said the numbers of steps to the docks, he does a double take. Does he just have crazy memory or did someone plant that information in him? Is the latter even possible?

So I was looking at the Coppermind’s explaination of a Nicrosil Ferring and I thought that it was fairly useless. All you could do was have the ability to use your powers or lose the ability to use your powers. But then I thought about Ettmetal. Would you, theoretically, use Ettmetal to make all feruchemists or Allomancers to lose the ability to use their powers temporarily or even permanently?

I’m pretty sure that normally you see an attack before it happens, and then act apon it. What I am thinking is that see the possible outcome of you attacking in a certain way before you attack, but you see many different ways you can attack, allowing you to choose the best of those outcomes.

I was thinking about a duralumin enhanced atium burst when I came up with a hypothetical scenario say a seer ingested leresium, making him a mistborn. He would have a very enhanced atium burn, but what would that do? Would you be able to see what another person’s reaction is to a certain move you make, allowing you to choose the best way of attack, or would something else happen?

So would the atium thing still work?

How exactly does Ettmetal interact with Feruchemy? Does filling a metalmind trigger it? Will it then add that attribute to its surroundings or does it subtract? For example, with a skimmer. He fills his metalmind, losing weight. Would that make the people around the harmonium lighter or heavier? Does it work when he’s tapping it? I imagine that would be devastating for atium either way. You can make everyone super old or you could become immortal.

So I have recently finished rereading the Mistborn series and a thought struck me. When do the books take place in relative time to each other? Elantris, Mistborn Era 1, warbreaker, and the stormlight archives all seem to be medieval-ish, but are they all happening at relatively the same time? I know that oathbreaker has to be after warframe because nightblood talks about Vasher, but what of the others? And when does Hoid decide to jump around in the cosmere? another question I have is relating to the cognitive realm. The cosmere is one big solar system, so that means some planets orbit faster than others. So would worldhoppers really have to know when they want to get where if they are say, doing a delivery of some sort from one planet to the next, or handing nightblood from one planet to the other? I have to admit, the delivery of nightblood was kinda perfect. Did Hoid send nightblood? i know I might have crammed in a lot of questions into one, but I’m really curious about all of this.

So I was rereading the bands of mourning and I am honestly a tad confused about the ending. 1) is there a canon answer to how the bands of mourning got to that temple? Is it because somehow Vin never decided to go back and reclaim the bands, then Sazed put them there when he recreated the world? Did Kelsier somehow get hold of them when he was a cognitive shadow after the world’s rebirth? I don’t think these are answered in the book, but My understanding so far is that that temple is to worship Kelsier, so he must have something to do with it, right? 2) How did Kelsier get spiked? In the coins, the statue, and the epilogue, which I believe all are talking about Kelsier, he had a spike through one eye. How did he get it? He didn’t die through the eye, right? Is it Hemalurgic? If so, what would be the point of it? A cognitive shadow can’t use any sort of metallic art right? Also, is there a reason for the mirroring between Marsh’s and Kelsier’s pierced eyes?

So what languages are spoken in the whole of cosmere? I assume it’s not English, right? But then again, there seems to be English expressions and mannerisms. Also, if this is a not earth solar system, where did they get metals like gold and such?

So I was rereading the Mistborn Era 2 books and the end section on metallurgic arts aroused my interests. It seemed like the narrator from the arcanum unbounded novel. He describes things in a way like he’s from other parts of the cosmere and that he’s doing research of some sort. I’m assuming this is Hoid, right? I’m not making a theory, just seeking knowledge.

So what I understand is that the pewter gives what the soul of brawn is; ripped and stupid. Also the spikes are put in the koloss in such a way that they upset or destroy the human’s spiritweb, dehumanizing them. Am I on the right track?

Thanks! I don’t exactly know how investure works in general, or about this whole thing about spiderwebs, but this at least tells me that hemalurgy doesn’t use investire as much as the person’s spiderweb.

So does that mean that the Koloss are slightly dehumanized by too much investure in their body?
