So the main weakness of the swords would be the seal of the Stamp. Also, you keep mentioning Soulcasting which is different. Soulstamping, maybe? So: You would need a massive amount of energy to make more Nightbloods, which could potentially drain the storm from the Cognitive realm on Sel...

So the main point against this is that Syl says that it is unfortunate that she can't attract other spren, but that might just be her personal experience. I kind of think that Radiant spren gain the ability to attract spren at the 4th Ideal, which aids in getting Plate

So for your question, I found the answer here (note that the site contains spoilers if you haven't read other things by Brandon Sanderson) So, what I got from that was that the richer color (from the tears of Edgli) help with the Awakening process, and make the awakened thing stronger, but it doesn't have to be color from the flower. on another note: What is your favorite magic system, and why? What other Cosmere books have you read?

Only problem is that Brandon keeps writing these books with so many references! It's hard to keep up (MB spoilers- kind of)

For reading order, I would also suggest Sixth of the Dust before Oathbringer and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell before the Bands of Mourning

So, just because she 'unlocks' Plate, that doesn't mean that she knows how to use it/ summon it for the first time. Maybe Lightweavers have to find out for themselves (instead of their spren telling them something like "But I could be a sword..."

yep. I feel like almost every LDS member gets that when they first see the Ref. I did: it took me forever to figure out that TLR was the lord ruler
