  1. Something really weird happened today…

I was talking to someone about Sanderson, and this person started telling me about an amazing fan site called 17thshard. I decided to just sit back and listen. Then they started telling me about some amazing theories they had read… some of which sounded really familiar to me. Then they started talking about how there was a meme page.

THEY SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED SOMEONE NAMED CHINKOLN.

They literally talked about memes that an otter named Chinkoln had made.

So I guess I have a fan base now

  2. Thanks, that makes a lot of sense, and sorry about the way I had worded the question. I see now how the way I said it was wrong, I had been trying to ask what kind of math is most utilized, but it came out as asking what math it was. Do you enjoy physics?
  3. You have some knowledge of physics, right? What branch of math is it? Would AP Physics be a bunch of algebra and systems of equations, or something else?
  4. What does it mean to be a keeper? How did you ascend to this position?

Keepers are the Coppermind staff, so we do a variety of general moderation. The thing we do the most is check new edits for accuracy and grammar, as well as just general quality. We do some other less fancy stuff to.

As to becoming a Keeper, you generally need to:

-have been on the Coppermind for a decent amount of time

-have contributed a lot to the wiki

-be agreeable, easy to work with, and good at communicating effectively

True, it didn’t happen, but Shakespeare had a flair for a good, memorable line in a drama

Of course SANDERSON would do something like THAT...

  11. I didn't say anything about this situation a few days ago because... the situation distracted me. Last Monday I almost passed out at gymnastics because of an intense pain where my spleen is. I waited a few days to see if it got better, and it barely did so I went to the doctor. They weren't sure what, but they could tell something was definitely up. An x-ray and some blood work later and they concluded... nothing. Nothing was conclusive. The best guess anyone has is internal bleeding, because there was a small something in the area of the pain and my blood pressure was slightly low.

“I will just pass out” Cmon Chink that’s not good xD

It’s not too bad, I’ve passed out once or twice and gotten really close a few more times because of dehydration and heat fatigue

He is making it a big deal, but he is always fine. Tbh, he sometimes enjoys it because when he wakes up he gets to act all weak and frail and play it off as if he is fine. It is all a ploy to get free Reese's, which many of his friends bring him.

  12. Ya
  13. Well historically Japan was a feudal nation. Land was taken and owned by Lords, not the emperor
  14. We know that Brandon has said that many cultural patterns have been borrowed from Asian nations. I just noticed one. Imperialist Japan, from the late 1800s to mid 1900s would conquer land, then give it to the emperor, who would distribute it among the lord based on merit and contribution to conquest. Similar to King Elhokar and the high princes with gemhearts
  15. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to a goat when they gave up. - Thomas Edison
  16. Kiss Asia, marry Europe, kill Africa red, pink, white
  17. I gave some in depth explanations of that a few posts ago, scroll up some and I give a better explanation, but 5 11, about 180 cm
  18. I want to be taller, I consider myself short
  19. According to science and family genetics, I’m still supposed to grow for another couple years, gain another couple inches. Even though I’m only slightly above average, I can almost dunk and I’m seen as taller cause… muscle and bearing. I always walk straight backed cause my back is dead, and slouching causes intense, burning pain. Plus I’m a gymnast. So I’ve got muscle and a strong build. Height.
  20. I wasn’t a huge fan of the books… but this looked AMAZING!!!!!!
  21. Uhhhh, Im 5 feet 11 inches, I think it is like 180 centimeters. Super short.
