  1. Erm...Copper is external, so I don't see how the theory "lends credence" to them not stacking..... [confusion]
  2. Thanks for summing that up Voidus. Atium is a touch underpowered next to Lerasium, so I think the cognitive boos tof godliness might fix that in later years. A machine gun would probably keep them on the defensive, but I doubt it would make Atium obsolete. EDIT: Gratz on 500!
  3. Idea: Each splinter acts like the mists, in the sense that they refuse to be absorbed by all but one person, so in order for the shard to reform, it'll either have to sit a while, or be regrown like shardplate slowly over time.
  4. Bronze changes something inside of yourself, so that's akin to saying two thugs burning next to each other doesn't make either one of them stronger than normal. And I imagine three people burning vs five people burning would be easier to detect simply because they're making five seperate sets of waves instead of three, akin to sound as you said.
  5. Hoid would eat a pancake. I think we're on to something with the spikes. Atium is my only real proof though.
  6. Depends on what they're saying. I imagine languages isn't a masuline art, and if Dalinar isn't saying anything similar to the Parshendi's wa chants, it's quite possible they're speaking the same language. Maybe the Parshendi speak a different branch off of the Dawnchants. Either way, it would also explain how easily they learned Alethi.
  7. 4? Aons, Dahkor, ChayShan, ????? ?
  8. Point. I just can't see Brandon throwing in something as mildly obscure yet obvious element like the Thrill without using it later.
  9. In the spirit of Mythbusting, I'll stamp this one as plausible. Elantris is the one book I know the least about Cosmere-wise. Curse you Brandon, I want Elantris 2!....No, Mistborn 2!...Erm.....JUST HURRY IT UP!
  10. I recal it saying somewhere that the Thrill isn't just adrenaline, but something more.
  11. Crap, my theory in progress has been stolen! Is Adonalsium playing the shards against each other? Maybe Odium isn't Roshar's biggest problem...
  12. If two Rioters try to get a person angry, it's easier than if you had just one. Two pulls beat one pull. I see no reason for copperclouds to work differently.
  13. Anybody who's played a Touhou game will know that bullets can quite easily corner an Atium burner. Still, the point is that it's not the brain doing the dodging, it's all in the smooth muscles, the purpose or which is to avoid having to take them time to think. Also, don't forget divine powers
  14. Atium has spikes coming outside and inside, which may signify that it is affecting both you and others.
  15. You don't really memorize babble. If a baby babbles, and then 3 dayslater another baby babbles in a similar way, it's not like you'll draw a connection. In all likelyhood Parshendi are dawnchanting, but nobody's ever noticed or connected it. Written babble is hard to connect to spoken babble, and obscure generals nobody has heard babble is hard to connect to rarely-paid-attention to babble. Did any of that make sense?
  16. The problem is, we don't even know if Cultivation is alive or not! We know so little about that shard, it's hard to say much. But we're almost guaranteed that Shallan has something to do with the shard (Not really, but close), so maybe...
  17. Don't forget, regardless of armor, running with a bridge is still painful and unethically difficult. It would almost have to be a volunteer job if so.
  18. I'm assuming you'd only be able to pick the shard up splinter by splinter, probably with time between each one. Not fun.
  19. What Venture said. They're united, but not in the sense they need to be. They need a leader to get behind and a common enemy to get against.
  20. Did I say Cadium was useless? Man I'm tired.
  21. If I tell you a bullet will slam through you, heading straight from the center of the room directly into the far left corner two seconds before it fires, coul dyou do it? 2 seconds sounds like plenty of warning to me And I said if the club, and therefore it's shadow, NEVER entered your line of sight.
  22. I respond well to bribery. Point. Saving food from spoiling.
  23. Voldy has a point. I guess I sort of undervalued it a bit there.
  24. If you're starving I suppose it'd be useful too.
  25. I love it! Used on a building's foundations during an earthquake to hold them a little longer.
