The blurbs on the back of the books are supposed to be from the sleepless. So they could mean that all of Roshar might be destroyed. Who knows? Would be quite thrilling (ha!) and I wouldn't put it past Brandon.

Brandon always said that Bondsmiths are special. And Dalinar is even more special, because the Stormfather has remnants of Honor. Maybe it was an ideal, maybe it has something to do with reforging Honor. Anyway, it's a very interesting scene.

You're probably on to something. Not to disappoint you, but I read this theory several times before. However, figuring it out on your own is something you can be proud of I'd like to add that Eshonai could be the flashback Willshaper, but we'll probably also see (an) "active" one(s), and I'm guessing it could be Venli. -
The addition "besides Harmony" makes me read something into that Wouldn't it be funny if Cultivation was held by another vessel, and let's say she died when Honor's vessel died. Romantic tragedy...

Skyward is going to be young adult. Unfortunately, all of Brandon's YA books seem short. But I mean, only if you compare them to Oathbringer or Mistborn ;-) I definitely also got the vibe that the slug is part of the ship. I don't like slugs If it's the ship's AI I'm wondering how Spensa and the slug will communicate - does it learn Spensa's language, does it already speak it, telepathy?

Yeah, that's what my gut says too. I guess somewhere along the way he'll accept his callname and I'll have tears in my eyes ;-) Overall I really like Brandon's way of publishing his books lately, I really enjoy the small bits and discussing them on 17th Shard. Still, I can't wait for the whole book to come out, from what I've read so far it seems pretty enjoyable.

A random thought: Could Cultivation's vessel's name be Dawn as in Dawn's Shadow, Dawnshards, Dawnsingers? Don't have time to think about it any more as I'm at work. It just crossed my mind. Please discuss ;-)

Well, at least there is some kind of "succession rule" concerning Horneater brothers and their jobs - so that could be related. I don't remember reading about a honorific yet, but I guess we'll get to see a lot more of the Horneaters culture anyway, so I'm excited about that.
