  1. I suppose so. Though as @DracostarA said, it looks like the GB were enemies of the bechickened Terrisman, and that the Terrisman was the one trying to stop Axindwith.
  2. So I was looking back over the ascension scene... Renarin leaves a note with the gemstones saying he's sorry. What did he see? Could he know about the Rayse/Taravangian switcharoo?
  3. In previous books, they seemed a lot more neutral. In RoW they seem to be working with Team Odium. It could be a long con-- that seems a very Kelsier thing to do-- but that would still fall under "mysterious agenda" stuff. Still a dangling "Why?"
  4. They captured Lift and gave her to them. They weren't respectful about it, but they were working together in some way.
  5. I'd assumed it was He Who Quiets. (And I'd be happy for him to take it back, with prejudice. Storm Moash!)
  6. We don't know that. I would have said that bringing back Odium would be out of character for Kell, but I would have said leading the GB was out of character as well. Clearly there's a lot going on behind the scenes we have no idea about.
  7. But those spren had all been summoned as blades and then killed. If you break your oaths without having your sword out at the time... I'm not sure what happens.
  8. With Rayse "Rayse SMASH!" as Odium, I didn't think the chances of Dalinar becoming his Fused was actually all that likely. With the more complicated character of Taravangian, I feel like the chances have gone up and I'm terrified.
  9. Sorry, just... not understanding how what you said follows from what I said?
  10. Makes sense. I'll take it.
  11. But apparently Thaidakar is "The Lord of Scars" and-- most importantly-- once got beat up by Hoid. I'm sad to say, all the evidence seems to point to Kelsier.
  12. Could turn out to be a good thing if the loss of Breaths ends up tipping off Hoid that something's wrong.
  13. Was the cremling pen (penling?) specified as being from the Ghostbloods?
  14. I mean, Brandon said the easiest way to revive a deadeye is for the Knight who killed it to renew their Oaths... he just didn't say what would happened if said Knight bonded a new spren in the meantime.
  15. I don't think so, or she would have heard it screaming? Then again, the whole timeline of Testament, Pattern, and "what was Shallan in between" is still really confusing. It's like she was still part-Lightweaver. Now that is genuinely weird. At first I thought it had something to do with Honor no longer being around-- like maybe he could fix them or something?-- but he died after the Recreance, didn't he? Maybe he lost the hypothetical fixer ability as he was dying?
  16. The Cosmere's most cursed ship.
  17. I've been using "Taravodium" . But Todd is funny.
  18. Blindness is too good for him. Death is too good for him. Being stuck on Braize forever with no company but Taravodium and the occasional ghosts of people he's killed popping in to say "You suck. Bye!" is too good for him. I was ambivalent about him even up to Oathbringer, but now I unreservedly hate him. Hate him. I might have to ascend to Odium myself just to properly express how I loath Vyre.
  19. Okay, the Shallan reveal has me pretty shaken, but consider this: she revives Testament and becomes a dual-wielding double Lightweaver.
  20. Hoid isn't a CS. Though maybe just being plain immortal has its own problems.
  21. same here. Well, I don't have a fiance, but my brother was somewhat alarmed by my violent cursing. Taravodium gives me the screaming willies. "I can finally protect everyone... using the power of cosmic hatred. Nope, can't see that going wrong in any way!" Do you think they're going to have to rename raysium?
  22. Anyone have any guesses why a random Terriswoman would be working to bring back Odium? Like, what's in it for her to go to another planet and free the god of hatred? The whole thing is just really strange. Given the Thaidakar reveal, I guess either Axindweth or the palace steward opposing her is connected to the Ghostbloods?
  23. wait I meant Thaidakar. but Restares too. okay maybe not all the missing shards, but I think most of them?
  24. *screams* *screams some more* Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaandoooooooonnnnnnn! How can you just causally drop the names of all the shards we didn't know??? How can you kill off Rayse in Book Four??? How dare you confirm that tinfoil-hat theory about Restares's Thadakar's identity?????
  25. War Criminal Custody Case by mistbastard: wherein Zahel and Szeth go to Nale's family court to fight over custody of Sword-nimi. It's as ridiculous as it sounds. No RoW stuff.
