  1. Yes. Last week.
  2. It's very very heavily implied that Thaidakar is Kelsier. I don't know what the "avatar" business is about, but I doubt it's the Autonomy sort of avatar; the pieces fit Kell too well.
  3. I've seen that idea around, but the problem is that Teft was killed with a Shardblade. Shardblades mess you up on all three realms; Wyndle notes in Edgedancer that it's hard to revive a shardvictim unless you get to it immediately. I don't know whether being Shardbladed to death cancels out the lingering effects of dying Invested; I find myself suspecting it does. And I don't even know if Teft counted as dying Radiant, since he had no spren left. That being said, I could be wrong, and it's a nice image.
  4. Sounds like a good theory to me.
  5. Not by a shard, by a Cognitive Shadow.
  6. StormLight Archive
  7. Or it could end up like that time in the Order of the Stick fandom where we simultaneously had about twenty different names for the nameless high priest in Utterly Dwarfed. I'm getting that vibe. Show of hands for calling the new Odium "Greg"?
  8. On the bright side, Nightblood wouldn't leave anything left of Dalinar for Odium to Fuse!
  9. Okay I figured it out. The links time out, for some reason, but if you close the tab and click the link in the email again it works (for the next X minutes).
  10. Lets you summon a Ryshadium. *nods sagely*
  11. I thought it was Pattern. Didn't Shallan send him to distract the fighters? I think they kept it a secret to discourage new spren from bonding. "You want to bond a human? Yikes! My human betrayed me, and so did his human and her human."
  12. I'm still not quite 100% sure there was no spy, but I think it's plausible that Mraize was making an educated guess, knowing that he didn't send any additional agents (or maybe he did, and that person saw Radiant do it).
  13. I pretty much fell in love with Raboniel's character from the moment she walked onto the screen in the Fused council in Kholinar. She just seemed like such a potentially awesome villain-- I didn't suspect she'd become a somewhat sympathetic villain as well! That scene where she killed her daughter-- absolutely beautifully brutal. As far as I'm concerned, Raboniel was the MVP of RoW.
  14. I wondering if the next book he's going to be constantly "seeing" Teft behind his eyelids, showing that there's a limit to how much pain you can give Odium. Just like Amaram still hurt.
  15. I was pretty intrigued by the palace scene, particularly the conversation between Ulim and Nale.
  16. Renarin's version did, don't know if it works that way for Edgedancers or non-corrupted Truthwatchers.
  17. *snerk* Imagining him explain his resume at an interview now. "So I see you used to be a Herald of Mankind. What were your reasons for leaving?" "Oh, the hours they made me put in were just torture."
  18. So this book, the obligatory Rysn interlude was told from Chiri-chiri's POV to avoid spoiling/necessitating Dawnshard. We got entertaining Larkin Thoughts, and Vstim saying the word "Dawnshard" and hinting at there being a big story there. So what I'm wondering is, is the book five Rysn story also going to dodge around the Dawnshard issue by giving the POV to someone else (Chiri-chiri, Vstim, Pot of Grass)? Or do you think the Dawnshards will be put into play in the next book and there will be no need to hide Rysn's thoughts? I'm wondering if there will be a Connection connection with Ishar.
  19. I suspect that's the result of spending an entire year with his emotions handed over to Odium. I wonder what would happen if his Bond to Odium got cut and stayed cut for a long amount of time, whether he'd get some of his humanity back. If he didn't commit suicide or simply go insane, which would probably be more likely outcomes.
  20. He only just stole back the Honorblade, though. Hasn't Nale been hunting Radiants for him for centuries?
  21. Someone who died recently, don't remember who he was. I think maybe I read about it in the preview discussions?
  22. Moash: *ends up as Champion of Mercy, to everyone's confusion*
  23. Still think it's Autonomy, at least in the main.
  24. I think you call it Run, It's Gonna <BOOM>
  25. "Whoops, my bad... where did we sink Nergoul, again? *sigh* Time to call in the Windrunner Diving Corps..."
