  1. 1. The classic 'I am a stick' scene. 2. When Kaladin says, 'The Knights Radiant have returned' in that scene in WoR. It just sounds so epic. 3. When Kaladin is fighting Szeth in the storm. 4. When Kaladin throws the leaves at Tvlakv. 'Happy middlefest, you bastards'. As you can see, I like Kaladin...
  2. You will live on Roshar, but you will be unable to interact with anything there. I wish for Oathbringer to come out tomorrow.
  3. We don't know much about them, but I'd kinda like to be a Willshaper.
  4. I dunno, it just sounds like the kind of phrasing that you would use when talking about a couple or friends having some sort of argument, and considering Nightblood is a sword I think its more likely it was stolen or something
  5. Falling out is a weird choice of words, considering Nightblood's nature
  6. I was at the point where I thought Wit was a herald XD.
  7. God, I must be horrible at finding out cosmere references. It makes sense now, of course, but still. Also, how did he lose Nightblood?
  8. That makes... A lot of sense actually. Truthwatcher I think, it would fit his personality more. I can't really imagine Lirin sliding around like Lift.
  9. Adding my own thoughts to my own topic, I'm thinking that Zahel might be one. I dunno what order though. Dustbringers? Willshapers? I dunno.
  10. She's being controlled by Hemalurgy, and she's also a member of the Fjordell religion. Done you just love making up stupid theories?
  11. Oh, you mean Redin, the bastard. I wasn't sure who you guys meant, lol
  12. Quick question. The Coppermind says that he appears in every cosmere work except Shadows for Silence. But I didn't see him in Sixth of the Dusk. Did he appear? I'm gonna look like an idiot here, but can anyone help me? Thx.
  13. Title says it all. With the Voidbringers now on the rampage, new Radiants seem to be appearing left and right. They are even appearing in places not really relevant to the main story, such as Lift and The Stump. I think Oathbringer and subsequent books are going to introduce lots of new surfbinders, so which characters do you think have the potential to become Radiants, and what Order could they belong to? As a side not, when I was first reading WoR I thought there was an order of Soulcasters, of which Jasnah was a member. The shame.
  14. Obviously Aesudan is actually working with the Voidbringers. Great theory Jk, I actually have wondered a lot about this, I suspect that when we all finally read Oathbringer we will find out more.
  15. This is kinda hard to explain, but next to my name I have a bit of text saying 'Darkeyes'. Can I change it, or change it later, or does it just update automatically? (Before it was 'Spren'). Sorry, I'm still new here XD
  16. That actually makes a lot of sense... I don't know much of Autonomy, having not read White Sand (I don't really like graphic novels), but those quotes seem to point it towards Autonomy. I had another look at the Coppermind and there was a mention of Gods before Adonalsium, maybe that has something to do with it. PS: here's hoping Brandon releases a novel version of White Sand sometime in the future, I loved the extract of the 1999 novel in Arcanum Unbounded.
  17. Title. Is he a shard? I haven't heard of other gods besides Adonalsium, and the Coppermind says nothing on the topic. I don't know what his intent would be. I have this random feeling that he's some kind of manifestation of Odium, and if he isn't a shard he could be a Splinter or Sliver of Odium. Thoughts?
  18. Sorry, was just wondering
  19. Hey! This is kinda random, but some of my favourite parts of The Stormlight Archive are the interludes in between each chapter. They are an interesting way to expand on minor and secondary characters and find out more about Roshar itself. So, what interludes will Oathbringer have? Personally I'd like one about the Winds Pleasure if they survive, maybe from Yalb's viewpoint. Another one like Ishikk's from WoK, where they introduced other cosmere characters, would be cool too. Or maybe how Balat and the others are faring back in Jah Keved? Before reading WoR I thought there would be one about Lirin, but that would be unlikely seeing as Kaladin returns to Hearthstone in Oathbringer. I know this is a pretty random topic, but let me know what you guys think.
  20. Thx for all of the support, guys! I understand now that he won't get a book, but I hope he still remains a strong part of the story. Also in case I confused you, Kaladin is actually my favourite character, its just that I recently did my 7th reread of WoR and was intrigued by Adolin's plot lines.
  21. Hey guys! First post here. I only just joined up with this forum, despite being a Sanderson fan since getting The Final Empire for my birthday two years ago. I've read all the cosmere works (including Arcanum Unbounded), and I'm excited to be sharing my thoughts with everyone. So, I was wondering something. The books of the stormlight archive revolve around a different central character for each book. WoK has Kaladin (my favourite), WoR has Shallan, Oathbringer has Dalinar, and future books will have Szeth, Eshonai, Renarin, and more. However, in all of these books Adolin has been a secondary character, an important person that isn't a radiant. The end of WoR opened up possibilities of further Adolin plot lines. So is it possible for there to be a book with Adolin as the star character? Let me know what you think.
