He paused. "What words? I say a lot of words..." He seemed a bit uneasy again, almost scared.

He laughed, using an incredible amount of dexterity and flexibility to try and avoid getting wrapped up by him. He failed in the end, but avoided getting caught for a good minute or two. He grinned at the spren. "That was fun... Do I have a spren of my own?" He looked at the now-a-snake spren curiously.

Shae sat, smiling and humming softly to himself as they waited.

Jason listened, absently dodging the mini-dragon in the air. It was just like all the other hallucinations in the air... wait... He stopped, watching the thing. "Are you a spren too? You look awesome!" He grinned at the dragon-looking spren, happy. @Sorana

He nodded. "Yes... I'm here to see someone for lunch about the details of a painting he requested?" He smiled politely, continuing to be wary and use a bit of tin to make certain he knew what was coming at him.

He smiled, hugging him. "Thank you... but I don't think I'm smarter than you... just smart in different ways." He sighed, squaring his shoulders and heading inside of the building. He looked around, inspecting their surroundings. @Blessing of Potency

He nodded, smiling. "Alright. Thank you sir. Have a good day!" He smiled, standing and stepping out of the car before closing the door in faint relief. He hummed, looking around before heading towards the building, meeting Dan along the way. "I wonder why they brought me here...? I thought it was supposed to be a lunch? Yes... I know they're trying to pull something on me Dan. I want to know what so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Wanna help me?" He smiled, looking at him happily.

Shae smiled. "Alright... thank you. I get out here, right?" He hesitated before opening the door, smiling a bit nervously. He'd thought they were going to lunch... this didn't look like lunch. That confused him and set him slightly on edge. @Blessing of Potency

Shae felt a bit uneasy, but didn't mind. It was just a carriage... with no horses... "How did this even get created...? It's not alive at all... no part of it is... and it still moves..." He poked the seat, curious.

Jason hummed. "Okay... Huh... what energy?"

Shae smiled. "Okay... Thank you, love." He gently closed the door to the strange, horseless carriage before smiling at the man up front. "He'll follow from the air. We can go now... Thank you for being so patient." @Blessing of Potency @Sherlock Holmes

He shrugged. "Well... I've dealt with shadier. Trust me, not all of these scars are from the explosion. I'll be fine. But like you said, you can follow from the air. I trust you. I'll be safe if you stay with me. Is that good enough?" He smiled at him, confidence in his eyes. He honestly believed what he was saying.

He paused. "Um... do you want to stay here? You could always follow from the air if you're that worried. I'm just meeting a man who wants to buy a painting is all. He asked me to lunch so we could talk over the details." He smiled at Dan, unconsciously touching the mark on his neck- as if to show Dan a message of some kind to soothe or relax him.

He smiled, nodding. "Okay. Thank you, sir." He hummed, opening the back door and climbing in, scooting over to make room for Dan, smiling at him. @Blessing of Potency @Sherlock Holmes

He paused, looking at the small one around his neck. "Yes I can see you. I like to pretend I can't. People poke me with needles and shock me if I let them know I can." He stood, then pointed at the chair and followed her 'instructions'. "Become cake!" Nothing happened. He looked at Leona- once again pretending he couldn't see the spren around his neck. "Why didn't it work?" He asked curiously, sincerely not understanding. Well... that was probably since he must've been suppressing it and everything else with it since he was incredibly young.

He let go. "okay what was I saying..." He paused. "Oh yeah! Ax, you're number one, bae. The rest of you..." He sprinted into the front room and slid on his knees, ignoring the rug burn as he stopped in front of Rob and poked him. "How long have you seen them, what are they, and how does she make the cake?" He got just a hair outside of being too close and stared at him. "I must know..." His childishly serious tone was at odds with his serious expression. Perhaps him discovering that- his whole life- he actually hadn't been crazy was going to leave him a bit out of sorts for a while; and he dealt with that by reverting to a slightly childish, wildly emotional state of mind. Ax would've seen it maybe once before. So he'd know exactly how safe it was, despite how uncomfortable it could be.

He turned to face her. "I'm sorry, but please don't snap at me. I'm a little miffed that I've gone through shock therapy to stop seeing these things and then you guys have been seeing them your whole lives as well. If I'm frustrated and you don't like it, well, I have a reason so go-" He paused. "You can make chocolate cake? Like... out of nothing?" Suddenly his eyes shone and he dashed forward to grab her hands. "You are the second most amazing person I've ever met in my life!" He grinned, looking like an excited child. Actually... maybe he had a reason for being so childish and sudden with his decisions and moods...

Jason blinked at the influx, then considered it. He turned and glared at the spren. Pointing at he, he carefully made various rude gestures with his other hand out of sight of most of the people. "You are real? I can't touch you. I can't touch any of the... 'spren' in the city either. What on earth are you even supposed to be? Why can I see you when no one else can?" He whipped around and pointed at Ax. "And YOU!" He paused, then reconsidered. "I was going to yell at you for letting me think I was crazy all these years, but honestly, you weren't there when I was five, so you couldn't have honestly warned me. And yes, one of them follows me around-" He cut off pointing an accusing finger at Jamie. "Okay, what the heck is she? She doesn't have one floating around her and none of you care that she can hear, so clearly she's just as messed up as everything else about this situation is!" He paused, thinking, then decided he was done for the moment and crossed his arms, waiting.

He smiled, rolling his eyes and grabbing his hand. He led him to the front of the complex and saw the car, hesitantly knocking on the window. "Hey... are you here to pick us up?"

He watched, curious. "Weird..." He felt the floor, then sid and leaned on the counter, humming softly in thought. "Alright. So either I'm dreaming, my schizophrenia has gotten worse, or I'm entirely insane..." He hummed, rubbing his chin as he considered which of those options was worse. The fact that he was so calm about it didn't seem to be reassuring. "Oh well, if I'm this crazy, talking to the dead people in front of you won't make nearly as much of an impact." Her turned to Leona's spren, not really caring who saw at this point. "You, tiny dead pain, please shut up already. I have no idea what you're talking about and I don't appreciate getting glared at. Seriously..." He sighed, rubbing his temples.

He blushed, grinning and chuckling. "Hey Dan... we have a meeting with since people for lunch today. You coming? We're already late..." He hummed.

Shae smiled, stretching and sighing contentedly as he waved goodbye to the last of his students before closing and locking the door. He then headed out to go get Dan- he knew the big brute wouldn't remember if his life depended on it. Big, handsome, kind brute, he amended in his head. Dan was odd, and he still wasn't sure why he loved him. Then again, from what he'd heard of and read over the years... love didn't ever really make any sense. He stood by the training fields, grinning as he watched Dan teach and chuckling to himself. Dan never went halfway on anything other than clothing... and even then, more out of his own culture's social norms than really only going halfway with it. He waited for the dog-eared man to see him, waiting patiently.
