Jace cleaned up the house and changed, getting back into bed and smiling as he tried to sleep.

Failen shuddered, then heard what they said. Joy... now there were more people attacking them. "Alright... I'll stay with you guys... is that alright?" He planned to follow them when they moved, and he looked at John for permission. Even if the others didn't like him, he knew he hadn't been kidnapped. He'd probably accidentally stepped through a portal... maybe some trickster mage had opened one to play a prank on him or something- whatever the case, he didn't blame John, and he planned to at least be civil until John did something to earn his distrust.

Jace blushed, smiling and cuddling against Ax's chest. "No... I think you are. But if you're so sure, maybe we're both the greatest. Either way, it was an exciting day and we both need to sleep. Go shower and change- I don't wanna sleep in a tux, and I don't think you do either. Besides, I need to clean up." Leaving candles lit all night was a bad idea...

Jace joined him, cuddling happily and innocently, feeling happy and sleepy.

Jace smiled, watching Ax as they danced and blushing the whole time. It was a good night.

Jace finished, then pulled Ax back to the front room, beginning to dance with him again, honestly feeling like this was the best night of his life so far. He was so glad prom hadn't worked out.

Jace smiled, nervous and excited as well, continuing to feed Ax pizza and breadsticks until he finally gave in and started eating some himself. He was hungry too, after all. And tonight had been surprising on a dozen different levels in almost blindingly different ways.

Jason smiled, kissing back and smiling. "I think I'd like that too... So... is this a proposal dinner-dance now?" He grinned, chuckling as he reached back and grabbed the slice of pizza to gently press against Ax's lips again. They did need to eat it, after all, preferably before it got cold.

He blushed. "Well... legally no, but... pretty much yes? We need to visit a justice of peace and get it legally recognized, maybe let your friends know, but... Yeah. I think we pretty much are." He smiled, excited for the moment it was official. "Unless you wanna be engaged for a bit longer."

Jason let Ax take the lead, following his actions and feelings surprisingly closely- the latter without even being aware of it. Though he was also blushing and feeling safe, and warm. He hadn't felt so loved in a long time. It felt good. 'I wonder how the other's will react...' was basically his only thought, and only because he didn't know the others as well as Ax. @Sherlock Holmes

Jason looked up at him with big, wide eyes. He slowly smiled, twisting so he was facing Ax and straddling his lap, hugging him excitedly. "Yes. Yes I will." He didn't know what he was feeling other than happiness. It was just a big, messy slew of emotions, and he didn't know how to express them all at once. This was good for now.

Jace bit his lip, then looked away, blushing and nodding. "I love you... I can't exactly afford a ring, but... Yes. I do." He tensed slightly, setting the pizza down and hugging Ax it was a bit awkward, but... he managed. He honestly didn't know what to do, or what Ax would say.

Jace froze, blinking. He zoned out, that thought now in his head as he blushed deeply. "O-Oh... I... I hadn't even thought about... I didn't realize..." He stared into space for a minute. "D-do... do you... want us to... do that?" He sounded nervous. He knew what he wanted, but he had no idea how Ax felt about the idea. This little romantic pseudo-prom had suddenly become something a lot more intense.

Jace smiled, chuckling and continuing to feed Ax. "What are you thinking about?"

Jace yelped, blushing before smiling. "Well fine then... have it your way." He grinned, opening the box and grabbing a slice before holding it to Ax's lips. "You hold me, I feed you. Only fair." He grinned.

Jace laughed, grinning. "Three it is... Shall we?" He smiled, taking Ax's hand and gently stepping away, beginning to lead him to the table, planning on doing that romantic thing with the chair and helping your partner sit down for Ax once they got there.

He smiled. "That sounds good... I'd like that. How many breadsticks do you want?" He smiled, just swaying to the music with Ax as the music continued to play.

Jace blushed, hugging Ax as he straightened himself, smiling and almost glad prom had been ruined for them. "I love you too... thanks for the dance. Do you want to keep dancing or eat something?" He couldn't stop smiling, and he didn't want to either.

Jace blushed, letting Ax do so and not trying to lead any of it, blushing heavily and closing his eyes as he enjoyed the happy moment with his boyfriend. Everything felt perfect, and he felt extremely happy.

Jace blushed harder, opening his mouth to respond but getting so distracted he tripped and grabbed Ax, twisting to the side as his eyes went wide. Either Ax would catch him in some kind of romantic way, or Jace would pull the man down on top of him- he was gripping Ax's hands very tightly once he started falling, in response to the adrenaline.

Jace noticed that after a while, slowing down a bit so Ax wouldn't trip as much and blushing as he looked down slightly. "Why are you staring at me...?" He chuckled, sounding slightly embarrassed and very happy.

Jace smiled, leading Ax onto the small dance-floor he'd made before beginning to dance with him- desperately trying to remember all the dances he'd learned in his school career- mentally praising all of the drama clubs he'd ever been in as saviors. He managed fairly well, feeling proud of himself.

Jason smiled, taking the pizza box and breadsticks from Ax and setting it on the table, flicking out the lights then so it was much dimmer. The candles lit up the room well enough to see fairly well, though. "Prom didn't turn out, but that's fine. I mean, we have the tuxes, we each other, and we have music, so that's what matters. And we have a place to dance..." He turned around, offering his hand and smiling as he blushed. "If you'd like too?" He hit play on his phone and set it down with his free hand, a random mix he'd found on youtube for romantic slow-dance songs beginning to play. He might not know how to use his magic, but he still believed that magic wasn't as important as people made it out to be- magic couldn't have done this, could it? He was very unaware that his Lightweaving could've done this and so, so much more than this if he'd known how to use it...

Jason smiled, watching him leave and then starting to set things up around the apartment as soon as Ax was gone. He didn't do much, and was done after five minutes, making the place look cleaner and slightly more romantic- a few lit candles here and there and some paper decorations here and there. He set up the table with a nice blanket as the tablecloth and a candle at each end, before hooking up his phone to a small speaker and making the front room as good a place for a dance as possible, choosing a few slow songs and smiling as he waited for his man to get home. It wasn't prom, but it was something- and hopefully it made the night as special as it would've been.
