    I believe it would not, though with exceptions. Emotional Allomancy affects the soul or mind, and doesn't pass through the plate in a traditional fashion. With a knight radiant wearing their own personal plate it would be different- as the plate is- as far as I am aware- tied and bound to your soul, created from the spren who is part of your soul. It might block the power in that case. We don't really know enough about plate to say.

    Failen bit his lip, trying to think. He was the first half-breed between a unicorn and... any other race at all, as far as he knew. Add in that he was also a shadowcharmer and Fairykind... maybe that's why he was so important? "Maybe... maybe it's something in our bodies? Our genetics, or something? I'm the first person who's ever had my kind of parentage... maybe we're important to the futures of our planets species or something? I'm not really sure how, but... it's something to look at while we think of more options?" He gave the suggestion a little naively, unsure about exactly how complicated genetics was as a field of study.

    I'm that one person who was from the second era but a different family, then got Cryogenically frozen and woke up after the entire dynamic of reality changed and tried to figure out how to get back into things, only top get grated into this family and barely speaks the language, then rapidly adapts and now is vaguely known by everyone and generally enjoyable, but leaves shockingly little impression anyways. People like me, but no one knows or really understands who I am or what I'm supposed to do, except the few that I latched onto and am almost always slightly too close to them to be respecting their personal space. I think.

    I'm fine- I thought it was a bit funny how strong a reaction I'd gotten. Not funny enough to do intentionally, but still. Besides, it helped me correct my grammar. So I'm grateful they pointed it out.
