Bank In Shambles

Piles of ash and bone fill the bank—victims of the Epic, Deathpoint. David Charleston watches helplessly while the Epic known as Steelheart displays his power by destroying the First Union Bank with energy blasts. The police try to stop him, but their bullets are useless. Only one made a mark on Steelheart—one shot from David’s father. Enraged that something harmed him, the super-human changes the bank lobby to steel.
