"Is this the culmination of three days' worth of research into me, Raveness, or did you just come to that conclusion on the spot?"

"I have been ASLEEP the last two days because of an injury that BRUTE gave to me!"

Caden scoffed, rolling his eyes at what obviously was an exaggeration.

"And I suppose that only you are allowed to give injuries to people in this kingdom, then?"

Riva growled deep in her chest. "It's my job" She leaned forward. "If you want to kill me, then you should execute me. This is the coward's way out, Ivian. You disgust me."

[Channelknight Fadran]

"If you would prefer I could have you executed. I'm sure nobody would object."

"You wouldn't." It was a challenge.

Caden glared at Riva, grumbling under his breath. "I would graciously accept that honor, if you will it, my liege."

"Oh, yes! I could have your husband do it. That'd be fun."

"You're bluffing and we both know it, Ivian."

"Would you like me to do it right now? I have some guards." Ivian snapped his fingers, and the guards approached them with their spears at the ready.

With a single look at the King to confirm that he was serious. Caden leapt from his chair and reached for Riva's shoulder with one hand, drawing the blade that was at his side to hold it towards the Raveness threateningly.

Riva looked at her finger nails. "Calm yourself, Caden, your master hasn't given the order."

Caden growled, moving his blade closer to her throat. "Give me a reason, witch. I beg you."

"Oh, trust me, darling, you'll have plenty of reasons when we share a home."

Caden gritted his teeth, glancing towards the King. "All the more reason I should end it now!"

Hmmmm... Maybe have her get up and kneel to be killed? I imagine her being grabbed out of her seat and kicked in the back of the knees to kneel and then Ivian tells her to beg if she wants to be spared. Something like that.
