I think she wanted to study the lerasium bead and was disappointed it is now gone. Alternatively she might have wanted to interview Hoid and wanted to catch up with him.

Honorless he/him Posted July 31, 2020 Posted July 31, 2020 Yeah, she has a gun. Taldain Darkside was developed enough to develop gunpowder way ahead, we see this in White Sand. We don't know precisely why, maybe she knew of Hoid by reputation somehow and decided to book it. Maybe she wanted the Lerasium for herself.
