is it one of those "you'll know" things?

No not really. It's not a constant thing and it's not very easy to just know what's going on or whatever. It's hard to recognize if something is dysphoria or not because it's easy to doubt it.

The truth is that dysphoria differs between individuals and it's hard to set a universal bar for it.

That's why the criteria for dysphoria tend to be very broad and aren't hard to meet.

Someone once told me that wanting dysphoria is a form of dysphoria itself, for example. There are some things that are easy to recognize, like the fact that I hate my voice, but some things are harder to recognize.

Passing observation:

AFAB folk tend to hold their shoulders down, in a kind of triangular shape with the bottom of their necks

AMAB folk tend to hold their shoulders so they're in a straight line with the base of their neck

Huh

I tend to find more of the opposite

Guys seem to be more likely to hide by pulling their shoulders down and in

Girls seem to widely be taught better posture, or expected to have it, and so I see them more with level shoulders

It's VERY much a spectrum. Mother Nature does love her spectrums.

It also depends on whether they have other mental challenges. Depression will cause hiding and having a more hunched posture.

Also, autism will either cause someone to be very slouched and with rounded shoulders or make you very stiff.

Given the link between gender dysphoria and gender incongruence and autism, that can also have an effect on body posture.

my posture is absolutely rust. I switch between slouched/forward head and a rigid/stiff posture and I also have an asymmetrical posture sometimes as well.

So uh, funny story.

So today was our class birthday party for this semester. (It's the last day of our semester)

We often have a giant buffet, and the birthday people get to go first. Then the best behaving students. So they called all the behaving boys to come get your stuff and I didn't get up, and just stayed absorbed in what I was doing (EGG_IRL), and my teacher cleared his throat and when I still didn't get up he came over and was like what the heck are you doing on your computer, and he saw it was EGG_IRL and said nothing else, he just walked away.

He probably just thought you were looking at "social media" or something, right? Or did he seem to recognize it or anything?

Also...pay attention in class hehe.

Even if eggirl is better

edit: I assume he doesn't know your trans?

Idk, I was pretty enveloped. It was on my school computer, so I can't access social media on it, so I don't know what he thought.

Also yeah, none of my teachers know I'm trans

Uh lemme think...

A good question to ask is "why do I want to be a girl." If the answer is "I'd be happier" or "It just seems better," that's pretty trans.

Anything else? Or anything I can do to explore my gender identity/if I'm trans?

Because I think what you said would basically be my answer to your question.

Also I'm bored and I wanna talk to yall but ur not rlly online atm
