Euphoria can be fleeting sometimes. I certainly wasn't feeling it 24/7

I mean I like being a guy, but no, I don't randomly get all giddy and go "I'm a guy!" It's just like a thing that is, and gives me some advantages and some disadvantages

Do you feel slightly depressed all the time but not really?

Yes

That's a separate issue though for me, because I just have that in my family. We all struggle with depression or anxiety

Cis people actively enjoy being their gender OR haven't had the chance to explore/question it yet

For example, some cis men choose to work out and walk around wearing no shirt because wowee they're soooo manly that they have to show off. They're proud of being masculine. They're proud of fitting society's preconceived notions of what it means to be "manly"

Obviously, there are more effeminate men and not every cis person is into working out and walking around shirtless for half of the day or more. Some are, but some aren't.

But in general, cis men like being cis men, or would prefer to stay a cis man if presented with an alternative.

Gender euphoria isn't really connotated with cisgender. And people express it differently. But see above.

Oh, probably same for me then. I believe my family does too.

Well....I don't see myself as a "manly man." But that doesn't mean anything on its own...

Idk what I enjoy...

Some people do. You probably can think of some. But yes, it falls in the cisgender category to want to wear a shirt. That's normal.

But for the most part cisgender people are content with their gender and they would not change it if presented with the opportunity.

Here: let's test.

@Kansas Stormcursed you have a comedically sized red button and five seconds to decide. Pressing the button instantly turns you into a girl, no questions asked. Do you press the button?

Spoiler

would be funny if the answer is yes

As funny as it would be, hell no. Well...

Ok here's the question. Does it give me a girl's body? And if so, do I automatically gain the understanding of how to use it, its range and capabilities, etc? 'Cause if so, maybe. If not, then I'm not gonna go through the teouble of getting used to a new body. Plus, I like my range advantage and jump-ability.

If we're just talking like mentally making me a girl, idk 🤷‍♂️.  Doesn't matter too much to me, and I don't really see what it would change

I'd probably choose it even if I had to get used to the new body...

Yeah, that makes sense. For me, what kind of body it is doesn't matter too much to me except for how it impacts my martial arts ability. Because right now I have good jumpiness and longer range, and that's what I'm used to. And typically a female body would be less in those categories, though it would improve some others. Just in general

yall i just remembered what i think made me start questioning. like a week ago or a little less.

it was @Akimikoisthecutest's blog post

so thx :3

edit: i mightve questioned before, even without realizing it, but pretty sure Aki's blog post was what really kicked it off. Idk why.

Either 19 or whatever age that person I knew once was (who was probably not even in High School)

also that's based on nearly zero "research," so i could be wayyyy off
