Dont worry. I totally understand. It took a bit but I came to a similar knowledge a few months ago. Then I realized some crushes I had were just platonic ones and I kinda messed up a friendship and I really wanna fix it im just to awkward to explain it so now I just awkwardly hang around them trying to play it off but im dying inside whatever.
