This was going to be a long day. There were no shackles on her wrists or ankles. Silence knew he had won. Why would he need chains to keep her down? This cell was certainly gloomy though... So dark... So... cold. She shivered and sat down, leaning her head against the wall. How had she allowed herself to be captured? She was tired and drained and... well, frankly, terrified. ---------- Ember's eyes widened and she doubled over, crying out.
