Okay, I am finally here, so hello everyone! Actually, I've been going around for some time reading your posts, but eventually created an account (the biggest problem was the nick, who gets me?)
Also, I was wondering, I'm asking people who don't speak english as a first language, if it's really hard to get used to all the proper names. For now they are just a mess for me and it's quite hard to keep with the theories sometimes...

Welcome! I'm new too. As far as the names go, I also purchased the audio book version, and for the first dozen chapters it was difficult to follow the names, after that it got much much easier. I'd be lost without the audio book helping me pronounce them all. Especially Rock's real name. That's the worst name yet, LOL.

Welcome, glad you are here! Yeah, names can be difficult, especially since Sanderson likes to name a lot of his characters with the same first letter (Kelsier and Kaladin, Steris, Siri, and Shallan). Which Sanderson character is your favorite?

Hello another new person, I may try this even though audio sounds just like a bigger mess to me. 

Woah, I got the similarity between Kaladin and Kelsier but it seems like he does it much more often. Just add to the 's' list Sarene and Susebron (and probably a few more I now can't remember) and it's getting way too complicated. And good to know I'm not alone, this gives some hope. 

And finally getting to what interests most of you (and I'm not surprised). I'm totally in love with Warbreaker, mostly for the magic on Nalthis, I suppose. Well, deciding on a favourite character is much worse, there are too many of them... But, I think I'll go with Vasher (kind of sticking to Nalthis, I know) but Vin was also amazing, just as Wayne, so it is really hard. Oh, and I forgot, I also love that short story on First of the Sun. 

(and, well, thanks for the warning, but it's sad as I love baked goods. But I'll have to live with it somehow.)

There's a roleplay subsection of the site, things can get a little competitive between different factions in one of the roleplays and have a bit of a habit of derailing intro threads, but if you are interested in forum roleplaying games come check it out.
