Unfortunately, Bayle had left the room. Rodel, who was admiring the abstract self portrait of Quiver, just shrugged.

"When you gotta go, you gotta go."

Bayle looked up from his amazing book.

"Shall we have the portrait scrapped, and replaced with an addition to your extensive collection of likenesses, Your Majesty?"

Darkness yawned.

"Sounds delightful! How about some of my sister and myself? Also, the members of our court too."

9 minutes ago, Darkness Ascendant said:

" @Quiver ?! A TRAITOR?!! I cannot believe such an accusation! I know this man, he is not traitor! Surely he has merely gone inactive"

Darkness glared at Bayle

"Don't put words in my mouth".

He was indeed a traitor. Long ago, in the early days of the Newcago Court.

At just that moment, alphabet soup was served.

A message was also received from Rodel, but a servant clumsily dropped it into the fireplace.

"Oops."

Darkness smiled and accepted the snowcones graciously There is no way I'm turning down something like this, even to pretend I'm humble.

Then he promptly ran to a dark room.

A message has arrived from Rodel. This time, it is Bayle who opens it.

"Would you like me to read it aloud, Your Majesty?"

"To the Everlasting Queen Elsa, and the Court of Newcago:

I have located a powerful gem, so powerful that it can restore lives. However, my main quest has been in vain. The body of the gorilla is nowhere to be found. I am now in Northern Greenland waiting further instructions of what I should do.

With valor,

Rodel Domon, General of the Newcago Court"

Bayle looked up with a humorous look on his face. "Perhaps he can bring more snowcones for Duke Darkness to ingest."

Okay, I hate to butt in, but as a psychology nerd, I can't help but wonder what having an entire thread dedicated to worshipping them does to a person's mind.

Not that I mean any disrespect to Queen Esla Steelheart, May She Live Forever.
