Brightness Random she/her Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 She heard a voice, although not one from Shadesmar, calling "Brightness! I'd suggest leaving!" Brightness Random stood and peeked out from around the door. I think that's me, she thought, but I can't seem to remember what I'm going by on this world. Either way, though, leaving sounds like a good plan. Ducking out the doorway, she began running through the hallways, trying to escape the palace. However, she found herself more and more lost. As she paused at an intersection, she realized how very tired she was. What have I been up to? she wondered. Opening her eyes, she grimaced. Which way had she come from? Rust and Ruin, she thought, curse my natural sense of direction! Finding an out of the way staircase, she paused to catch her breath. As she sat she wondered what she had gotten into on this world. Though she couldn't remember coming here, it seemed to be a very exciting place. I do hope that giant white dog is alright, she thought to herself, it looked fierce, but not quite so much as that Parshman.
Cheese United he/him Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 "That's the wrong way Brightnes!" Cheese yelled as she ran off, then went back to his epic, important, metaphorical, deep, awesome, cool in every way, and awesome battle against the Parshman.
Voidus Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Voidus smiled at Elsa."Gold compounding can let you survive pretty much anything" He said, pulling out another pair of tacos. "Taco?"
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 "Sure. I've never really had a taco before. What's in it?"
Voidus Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Voidus opened the taco, inspecting it's contents."Bit of minced beef, some cheese, salsa, lettuce, carrots, spikes containing the spirits of- hmm... that's not supposed to be in there."Voidus tucked several spikes away into his various pockets before biting into another taco."Anyway, lots of delicious stuff."
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) Queen Elsa bit into the taco, the flavours combining in the most magnificent way. "Yum. That's amazing. My first taco was definately a good one. You should make some at the DA. I'd definately buy some for Newcago. I'm not surprised now that you ate seven tacos. They're really good!" I just love how all this other drama is going on and Queen Elsa is just chilling eating tacos....... Queen Elsa turned as she heard thumping sounds coming from the ballroom and began to walk there. Delightful Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) Delightful rushed past Voidus, taco shell crumbs crunching under her feet. She was still wearing her dirty travelling dress, and she felt horribly undignified in the grand new palace. She shook her head in disbelief. elsa's creative powers were unbelievable. She reached her sister, and caught her by the arm, pulling her into a hug. Then she leaned back and lightly slapped her. She was perhaps the only person who could get away with this. 'Elsa what are you thinking getting into troue without me? What on earth is going on here? Who's that strange woman sleeping gloveless in the other room? is the portal to the herald torturing room safe? . The Princess then pulled the Queen into another hug, muffling any chance she may have had to answer. Strangely, she faintly smelled salsa sauce. is it ok to hate Odium? Hate leads to the dark side.....(as does cookies. But the dark ally uses Ruins magic system......) Edited February 19, 2015 by Delightful 2
Brightness Random she/her Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Delightful, wouldn't hating Odium only add to his power? Still sitting in the staircase, Brightness Random tried desperately to remember which world she was on. I must have hit my head, she thought, Because not only do I have a killer headache, I can't seem to remember what is going on or which planet this is. Standing up, she peaked out around the corner, checking for any potentially dangers. "Looks like the coast is clear..." Resolving to actually escape the palace this time, rather than just get more lost, she set out down the hallway. If only I had my notebook, she thought, I could see what I'd written down about this world. That would let me figure out who my allies are, who to avoid, and- Passing a window, she noticed a billboard advertisement below her outside. Was this part of the ice palace really so far up? Sure she may have climbed a few staircases, but this was ridiculous. There go any plans I had of climbing out a window, she thought, annoyed. She continued walking for a moment, then returned to the window. She paused there, deciphering the billboard. English, she thought, that eliminates at least a few worlds. After mulling over her options, she decided that if she ever escaped, she would follow the instructions listed on the billboard. She would visit this "DA" and seek refuge there. "They're probably quite friendly," she mused to herself, "After all, anyone giving out free cookies has got to be friendly..." Smiling to herself, she carefully continued down the hallway. 1

Who's that strange woman sleeping gloveless in the other room? is the portal to the herald torturing room safe? . The Princess then pulled the Queen into another hug, muffling any chance she may have had to answer. Strangely, she faintly smelled salsa sauce. "Delight-" Queen Elsa began, but her answer was quickly muffled by the huge hug by her sister. "I missed you so much. It was hard here without you" They detached themselves from the hug and Elsa rubbed her cheek. Her sister may not have powers, but she definately had the strength. Elsa tried to explain slowly but it ended coming out all in a big rush. "I had to rebuild the ice castle completely because I collapsed at the recent danceoff and my powers went a bit.....crazy. The castle nearly fell on the citizens and then I was taken to the Scholars Base and the DA only to return back here and rebuild the castle." "The Woman sleeping in the other room is Newcago's new duchess, Duchess Brightness Random. Fang accidentally attacked her and knocked her out in the lower castle tunnels" Queen Elsa was almost reduced to tears, speaking about everything in a big cloud of craziness. She pulled Delightful into another hug "I'm so glad you're back." Queen Elsa then snapped her fingers and a new dress appeared on Delightful. They both heard a noise from the above staircase and walked up, and saw the Duchess. "Duchess Brightness Random!" Queen Elsa said. "Glad to see you're awake!"
Brightness Random she/her Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 She was not lost this time. Despite what others may say, Brightness Random was only admiring the detailing on this same wall for the fifth time in a half hour. Definitely not lost. "Duchess Brightness Random!" a kind voice called from behind her, "Glad to see you're awake!" Turning, she saw a young woman who was dressed in an icy blue gown, matching the blue color of the palace. "Ah, yes, glad to... be awake." I'm sure I know her! she thought to herself, but I can't seem to remember how or why. Noticing the crown on the woman's head, and deciding to trust her, Brightness said, "I seem to be rather lost, your highness. Could you point me towards my room?" 1
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 "Of course. Your room is up this staircase, then the 3rd door on the left. Would you like me to take you?" Queen Elsa began to walk up the stairs when she noticed the blank face on the Duchess. "Duchess Random? Is everything okay?'
Brightness Random she/her Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Startled by the queen's question, Brightness looked up in surprise. "What?" she asked, "Oh, um... yes, everything's... fine." The queen didn't seem to completely believe her, but didn't point it out. Why aren't I any good at lying? the duchess wondered, it would come in handy every now and again. The silence between them quickly grew awkward. Recognizing her open bedroom door ahead of them, Brightness rushed ahead. She turned before going in and gave the queen a quick bow. "Thank you for your assistance, your highness." With that, she slipped into her rooms and shut the door behind her, hoping that hadn't been too rude. Looking around the room, she noticed a bag that had clearly been used to transfer her belongings into the new room. Digging through it, she quickly found her notebook. Flipping through the thoroughly kept entries, she soon reached what she was looking for. I've made my way to Earth, it began, it doesn't appear to be a Shardworld, but I could be wrong. I've decided to join some local factions here, namely the Newcago Court. It seems that- The book continued, introducing people she had met and customs she had learned. As she read, she mentally began connecting the dots. That was Queen Elsa I met earlier, she realized. I almost remember now. There was a party - a danceoff - and things started falling apart. But what happened after that...? Having finished reading her notes, Brightness stood up, preparing to go back out and face the court. I hate losing my memories, she thought, it makes such mess of things.
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) "You're very welcome." The Queen said just before she shut the door. Queen Elsa began to make her way back down the stairs and gave Delightful another hug. They both walked into Queen Elsa's study, to sign some important royal papers that needed Royal Approval. Queen Elsa sighed but then smiled at Delightful. Signing royal documents was one of the important things a Queen had to do but it was so.....tedious. Cheese United he/him Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Cheese was deep in research, trying to see If there was any presedence for a man becoming a castle on a Cognitive level. He needed to help LeftVash, becuase then he would owe him a favor, which he would use to get doughnuts. A He also was attempting to discover a way to steal Queen Elsa's powers. Um, I mean make better Root Beer. (You didn't see anything) 1
Voidus Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Luckily I have the same power, to enable me to eat multiple tacos simultaneously

Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I have a question for you, Queen. What does an American accent sound like to you? Or, what stereotypes are there in Australia about American accents. For example, in America people think that a British accent sounds snooty.

Or, what stereotypes are there in Australia about American accents. For example, in America people think that a British accent sounds snooty. Something a bit like this: American accents are pretty cool, I wouldn't mind having one. Some stereotypes are like they say Oh Ma Gawd or Waarrter instead of water, Mom instead of Mum, Oh and aluminium. Apparently Americans say that words completely different to how we do. And some other words sound a little different and it's defintaly more high-pitched and holding the word for longer. but other than that, there really isn't many American accent stereotypes that I really know of. You should ask Lightsworn Panda or Delightful as well, if you want some varied ideas. Excellent question, by the way. Can I ask you the opposite? Americans about Australian accents. Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Waarter is a Southern thing. My mom (who's from Alabama) says that. Also, "warsh the dishes." I think that most Americans, should they have to pick one, would choose an Australian accent to have. We think you guys are awesome. Well, except for the Vegemite.

Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Nope. I had never even heard of them, until just now. They look good.

They are heaven in a chocolate. The double coat flavour is INCREDIBLE. You should definitely try one. They are AMAZING! Edited February 21, 2015 by Queen Elsa Steelheart
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 They may not be sold here (wouldn't be surprising, my dad once brought some cookies home from England that were delicious but can't be found here), but I will check.
