The darkness formed into chains, a mockery of what his enemy had done to his friends The shadow chains wound their way up the stranger's legs, up his torso, around his arms and finally circled his neck without strangling the man.

 

The King smiled at the terror  on the man's face, "First, you will call off your ridiculous assault. Second, you will tell me who you are and what you are doing here. If you lie the chains will tighten and I will claim you as one of my Muertos." This time the King did not yell but talked in a low, calm voice which was more frightening if that was possible.

Pirh walked over, growling. Her wolf form was intimidating, especially when she grew angry. Wolfkind was powerful. She would not let an insult on her pack go unanswered. 

 

There was only one thing the leader of the heralds was afraid of, and that was wolves.

He drove himself into such a state, apologising every two minutes and attempting to run when he was surrounded.

Pirh growled at the Herald. He jumped into the poision. 

 

The Queen smiled at Pirh. "Now to take care of the other Heralds, and then we can get back to our celebration, and because of this victory, I will extend the party."

[Voidus]

Voidus stepped from the nearby shadows to join the group, still carrying a tray of cookies.

"Well this was a lot more exciting than I'd thought, a fight is it?" From his sleeves fell two large silvery metal spikes. "Let's see what we can get from these ones shall we?" He said, tossing off his cape to reveal a body riddled with pieces of metal.

Voidus broke open several of the cookies from his tray, revealing the smaller spikes therein and pocketed them, holding them ready for combat.

"Hello Vodius, the queen said smiling, shardblade in hand and wrists glowing. "Aren't you spontaneous. Thank you for coming to sort out these remaining Heralds. Now, lets finish what we started." And they began to charge.

My advice: Choose Portland because there is a lot more of fun stuff that is going down. I.E. there's a battle that's being really built up to. But Pandas are invading the Dalles, so that's cool too. But there is no Dr. Funtimes in the Dalles. Portland's about some new to town Epics who are claiming to be Emperors. Then how other people respond. But read the thread, it's interesting.

Just a quick note, the Portland thread is no longer accepting High Epics as characters. The Dalles is better for new players.

 

Doctor Funtimes is one of the central characters of the game. Known for whimsical hijinks and glitter.

They could already be in the city. I just like walking in because it feels dramatic. I'm waiting mostly for Edgedancer to respond before I can do a second post. And I always make epic puns, even if nobody understands because they haven't read Steelheart. I say them and I'm secretly amused at the idea of them blowing up a city.

Who is your character?

My first epic here

Epic name: Snow Queen Elsa

Primary power: Able to create snow and Ice out of her hands, and also able to create literally anything out of it.

Appearance: Platnium blonde hair, looks about 21 years old, usually seen wearing an ice dress and sometimes a tiara.

Has a slim torso.

Personality: She is quite happy most of the time however, her mood can change very quickly when in danger or angered. She is much more powerful than she looks.

Weakness: Intense heat.

History: Elsa used to live in Newcago then moved to Oregon with the other epics.

Cool. But not all the Epics are from Newcago and you seem to imply that. In fact, no Epic in the Roleplay is from Newcago. 

The only one from Newcago would be Nathan and it´s kinda hard to follow someone on foot when he moved by teleportation.

Is that actually a real place in the world somewhere? Also, I'm slightly curious why you still like Frozen after it's been a year. I know you have a good reason, I just curious what it is.

Arendelle in Norway is a real place however it is spelt Arendel there. (Apparently there was a King Olaf ) Even though it's been a year I still like it because I feel some of themes I can relate to, like not always the major ones but like the characters feelings and the like. A lot of the reasons people say, like the themes, aren't unique. Brave, for example. Just saying. Also, it's been a year. Isn't that long enough?

I can like movies for quite a couple of years before moving on. I never saw Brave, (it is sitting in my desktop waiting to be watched but I haven't had a chance) is it like frozen?
