The bus came to a stop in front of them. Rob shrugged. “I thought you might like it. As compensation for destroying your last weapon.”

"Thank you."

Surprised she started to move towards the bus, looked around for James and Ben.

"That wouldn't have been neccessary."

But she grinned happily. A hammer.

"Like those dwarfs. I think I'll be brilliant with a hammer. The next Voidbringer better wear warm shoes, They shall tremble in fear when they see my hammer."

"Did you name it already?"

“Name?” Rob asked. Name a hammer?

“No,” he said. “I am not very good with naming things. I would just call it ‘hammer’. Maybe you can name it, when you see it.”

He saw her look back and he gestured to Ben and James, who were still outside the hospital, to hop on the bus with them.

Ben nodded and started to make his way over to them, still leaning heavily on James.

“Hello James,” Rob said, and waved with the arm Shana wasn’t gripping on. He looked at Shana, leaning on him, and at Ben, leaning on James, and would have smiled if he was any other person.

Shana and Ben, like a cute injured couple. But Rob’s face remained stone serious, so no one could read his thoughts.

"Ello" James smiled. "Quite the group we make." He added, gesturing to their group.

He hadn’t gotten a thank you in a while, maybe later he’d have to Google what the appropriate response was.

I am suddenly very intrigued as to what Rob's search history is.

Wait...Itiah, you've given me an excellent idea. :D I'm going to make a thread based around that.

"We definitely do,"  the female officer said to the first.

Cassie watched them nervously. They were taking it somewhat well, she thought. No screaming or trying to lock them up. But then, they wouldn't fully believe them right now. "Okay," she said uneasily. We're probably not supposed to leave the city because they want to talk with us more.

Ben shook his head, smiling wryly.

”Only 50% of us can stand on our own.”

Sounds like a fun thread idea  And yeah, Rob’s search history would mostly be stuff like that...

“Good thing we’re catching the bus, then,” Rob said and hopped on the bus. The driver looked tired, which worried Rob, but he accepted the coins Rob kept in his pocket, and the student fare they sued was enough to allow them to buy a bus ticket back home.

The bus was mostly empty, with the exception of a few tired looking people in the middle and a man (who was for some reason wearing sunglasses) in the back.

Shana smiled tiredly at Ben then followed Rob into the bus. She was glad that the man simply believed Rob that they were all students, she really needed to get her purse back.

Sitting down lean was glad for a chance to lean against a seat and -

Quickly she sat upright again when her back reminded her of the wound spread across it. Bolt. Never let yourself get hit by a magical bolt.

Ben stumbled onto the bus and sat down next to Shana, concerned. Was it her back injury?

“Are you alright?”

Shana smiled at him, glad that he was talking, that he was here.

"Don't worry. Nothing some light can't solve."

She took his hand.

"I'll be fine. We'll be fine. And they bought our story, well Rob's story. So that's good as well."

“Yes,” Rob said, and the bus began driving past quiet and dark neighbourhoods. It stopped at a few places to drop of people, and pick up new ones, but sooner than later they stopped almost directly in view of the large house.

“I am sure the others will be able to find their way home,” he said. “I tried calling them but my cellphone ran out of charge.”

Aw, Rob.

Also, calling it right now, sunglasses man is evil. Or important, anyway.

@police station crew, we all good to timeskip back home? Or start walking, in case Itiah intends to start a miniplot on the bus?

And good thread idea. Rob’s history would be something like:

“Yeah, I don’t think the police station is too far from here.”

Edit: Sorry about the quote boxes, I can’t figure out how to fix it

:P It’s probably the most probable way anyone’s going to get emotion out of him.

“That’s good,” Rob said, thinking about how he hadn’t deleted his search history today yet. It wasn’t that he browsed anything wrong, just that he didn’t want to have to explain why he searched things if anyone accidentally saw.

“But first you all need to rest.”

"We can always try and contact them, when we are home."

Shana continued to sit straight, moved around until she found a position that was more or less comfortable. Or rather, that wasn't hurting that much. The bus was nearing the stop where they had to get out. They would be home soon.

"I lost my mobile, when I lost my bag."

She sighed. Maybe the police had found them - but then they were gone. A murderer. In the face of law she was a murderer. She'd killed them. She'd done it before, when the first crystal appeared, when they all rushed to the park. They hadn't seemed like people then, had looked like monsters. But those that had captured her, they had seemed humand. A disguise? Maybe.

"What are they? The Voidbringers? What are they?"

Her voice was low, intense, only for her three friends.

"Are they like us? Human?"

Alright. I won't post anything for the police officers anymore, unless Ene wants to rp Eiss a bit longer.

I had to write that for Shana, but I mentioned that they are close, so they will arrive at the home without our next few posts, if we each move them along a bit.

“Maybe they used to be. But whatever they’ve done to themselves, the actions they’ve committed... they aren’t like us anymore. Whatever scrap of humanity they once had is gone.”

Ben stared out the window, not wanting to think about what those people had done to themselves.

They used to be.

"I...", her voice lowered, "killed them."

Troubled she glanced at her hands. That crystal what if the crystal was the source? Humans. Killing a bad human still made her a murderer. No. Used to be. Ben was right. They were abominations, they were wrong. But there was this nagging voice in her head, whispering about how easy they had died. Just like humans.
