Suddenly a large group of Precursors break down the doors and crash through the ceiling and aim their weapons at the gang members. Wally walks through one of the broken doors holding a gun in each hand, "Surprise mother rusters!"

Bellatrix turned, her eyes aflame. Fire surrounded her, and she sprinted forwards. It faded as she got closer, the fire faded, and a white glow surrounded Wally, a massive torrent of flame.

Wally was engulfed in flames as his skin melted off. He died.

Mike screamed in surprise and drew his daggers.

"This needs to wait Freyja."

he called out to her and hasted after Bella, who'd just killed one of the intruders.

"What do you want here?"

Bellatrix turned. "They're police. Enforcing their own laws." Three of them came towards her, and their skulls burst into flame. But there was a lot. "We kill them, or we die."

Mike nodded and rushed towards the one closest to him. He ducked beneath his arms, then he moved up, and rammed his knife deep into the neck of the man. Then he let the body drop to the ground and turned to one who tried to get behind Bella. The man saw him coming and hit Mike's arm, but then Mike was close enough to use his knives effectively again and he killed the man without hesitating. He had trained this, trained it for years upon years, in simulations, in training and later during assignments.

Bellatrix grinned. He's a killer, not just a nice person. She ran forward, knife stabbing person after person. As she ran, random people burst into flames. And then she saw. Ezra, fighting a precursor. And losing. She focused the flame on him, but... the knife hit Ezra. Through the eye, and it was big. Damnit. A tear leaked from her eye, but she turned, attacking another precursor.

The Precursors started trying to surround the gang members and shooting.

Maxwell dove behind a barrel and began shooting at them with his repeater, "You all have made a terrible mistake coming here!" Maxwell yelled.

Mike dove to the ground and rolled to the side. He stabbed the next precursor and then hid behind a crate to orient himself.

Bellatrix, who was angry, surrounded herself with fire and rushed out, incinerating any who came close.

Mike  made sure to stay away from Bella, instead he quietly walked up to a new target and rammed his knife into the man. His aim was off, and instead of dying, the man turned around, aimed at him and Mike threw himself to the ground. A bullet hit his arm and he screamed in pain, the knife he'd held with that hand cluttering to the floor. Mike screamed again, in anger this time and attacked the man again, this time opening his throat. Hot blood gushed over his hand and his chest and he hastil ducked behind another crate to asert the damage. He could barely move his hand, and he saw a hole in his forarm. He knew, once the fight was over, that one would hurt. A lot.

She had to end this. She thought about what she knew about human brain structure, and got a general idea of where the brain stem was. In each of the soldiers she could see, she made it burst into fire. They all dropped dead silently, almost instantaneously. Twenty dead at once.

Mike heard the bodies drop and looked around. He could see another one, who had eben hiding close to him. He killed him or her and then remained close to the side of the room to see if they had missed someone.

Bellatrix looked around, and found the last precursor. She pulled him up, and punched him in the face. Then she threw him out the door. "Tell them what happened here."

Mike left the place where he'd hidden and walked over to Bella. His hand clutched his arm, held it close.

"Are you alright?"

Bella looked over, and realized she was crying. "I killed so many..." Then her eyes rolled back in her head, and she fainted.

Mike hasitly knelt down next to Bella, shook her softly.

"Bella?"

Then he looked to Maxwell.

"No, I don't know."
