Spiking an inquisitor

So I feel pretty dumb for asking this, But if you spiked someone who already got their powers from hemalurgy then do you take their power at just another diminished rate. Or would the spirit web reject a twiced used investure peace. I'm leaning toward just decreased power but is there a definitive answer on this?

Don't feel dumb - that's actually a really good question, one that I don't remember coming across before and never even thought to ask.  Can you steal stolen attributes?

Decreased power, likely. There really wouldn't be any reason why a spike chain wouldn't work, up to a certain point where the charge is negligible.

That's actually on my list of questions. We don't know definitive answer.

But I'd guess that the ability is still tied to spike, and you can't spike it out of someone since it's only in them because of Hemalurgy.

Well hemalurgy works by ripping off a piece of someone's Spirit Web and grafting it on to someone else's Web. So I dont see why you couldnt retransfer it, but if you keep transferring it, the investiture will eventually become unusable
