I might make someone who's super good at both their things, but don't really care about their own powers and just kind of ignore that they're a walking death machine.

...either that or I might just make a wizard with godly parents.

Well, it's either Chrysler, who's an older demigod who travels the US helping out younger heroes get to the various camps, or Alex, who I'd have to take over the whole Wizarding World with because he's an obsessive Slytherin who wants to make the whole word better, so it depends on which role you'd rather have. i know you already have a villain, so I might not add another

My character:

Meet Terra Ollivander, a distant cousin to the renowned Garrick Ollivander. She has taken after her eighteenth cousin, seven times removed, and wants to become a Wandlorist to continue the family business after the eleventy-one-year-old man inevitably kicks the bucket. To do that, though, she needs to go through Hogwarts and study up on as much wandlore as she can possibly find.

Her parents included a wizard named Alfred Ollivander (he and Garrick never really liked each other that much) and a goddess named Athena. Both of these two were incredible academics, and together they spontaneously materialized a child named Terra to continue their shared love of knowledge. Terra is vaguely aware that she has a goddess for a parent, but she doesn't talk about it much.

Terra's about 5 and a half feet tall, with gray eyes from her mother that she keeps behind her reading glasses (she never really takes them off). She likes to keep her dark red hair short-cropped and curled so that it turns up at the bottom like those silly wigs that judges like to wear. Most people would look at her and think nothing of it, and if asked they would probably respond with "yeah, I guess she's pretty-ish. Just another person, y'know?"

She has a Hornbeam wand, 12 1/4 inches long, Phoenix Feather Core, and Unyielding. Terra's bond with her wand is unbreakable, as she actually met with her eighteenth cousin (seven times removed) to construct it herself.

As I said before. I would prefer if all the characters are students besides some exceptions.

@Blessing of Potency I mean, I guess. I miss writing a psychotic teenager. My Percy Jackson is a bit shaky, and this time I'll try and fit it more into the Harry Potter/Percy Jackson lore and stuff. I will probably have to edit my character bio.

Name: Cosette Tenebris

Parents: Eris, Greek goddess of Chaos, a wizard parselmouth. 

Appearance: She has short blonde hair, with one side shaved. She normally wears piercings in her ear and nose, and she is roughly average height for her age. She is attractive.

Age: 16

Hogwarts House: Slytherin (former)

Personality: Cosette is feisty, manipulative, and psychotic. She does what she feels like and be impulsive. Cosette can also be mischievous as well.

Powers: 

Shadow Travel: Cosette can basically travel through shadows. She can stand in a shadow, and transport herself or others. She can transport to the places’ shadow, or a nearby shadow. The more people or the farther the location the more taxing it is on Cosette’s strength. 

Chaos: Cosette can “riot” people. She can fill a specific individual or a group of people with anger, strife, or discord. It is not immediately noticeable it is more subtle. You can resist, but it is hard to rebel if you do not notice it. 

History: Cosette grew up in downtown Seattle, Washington. She was abandoned after her father was killed in an experiment involving the dark arts, and it broke her mind but gave her the Shadow travel abilities.

Eventually, she was picked up by a British wizard visiting America. He took her to Hogwarts, where she tried to learn magic with a wand. She was sadistic and terrorized her fellow students until she was expelled.

She has been roaming the Britain for the past three years, stealing and causing riots. Cosette now has a personal vendetta against Hogwarts. 

 

Walking down a street London, Cosette could fell the change in the Atmosphere. Something dark was coming. Something mysterious. Something dangerous...Something Cosette wanted in on. "But we will have to wait. Isn't that right Noodles?" He hissed in return, and they continued their stroll down the boulevard.

Iris watches from a bench across the street. Cosette Tenebris, a feisty little thing that could be very useful under the right mentor. She leans a forward, restoring her arms on her knees and tracks her with her eyes.

Meanwhile, at Hogwarts...

Terra Ollivander, eighteenth cousin (seven times removed) to the renowned Garrick Ollivander, had fnally finished her homework. She sighed a breath of relief, shutting her massive textbook and sitting back in her armchair. After a couple minutes of relaxation, however, her mind got bored and demanded she do something. Terra relented, hiking up the stairs to the girls' dormitory. She grabbed a notebook off her nightstand and began studying her notes, comparing them to the day's homework.

The killing curse does its effect immdiately, and supposedly without any pain or blemish. She mused. Brother wands can't kill the others' owner... there's got to be some connection here.

Name: Bethany Lewis

Parents: Quinn (a pure-blood wizard) and Gracelyn (a half-blood witch)

Appearance: Long, straight, light brown hair to her waist. Soft brown eyes, framed with round glasses. Fairly short (about 5'4"), though her willowy build makes her seem taller. 

Age: 14

Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw

Personality: Gentle and sweet, those who haven't seen her grades (or her when she gets angry) often wonder why she wasn't put into Hufflepuff. However, she gets constant O's, and many of her teachers comment that she is the smartest student they have ever had. She isn't easily brought to fury, but when she is, she becomes a whirlwind of witty and wounding words. (yay alliteration!) 

History: Mostly raised by her muggle grandmother, Beth never saw much of her parents, who were always at work, on business trips, or sleeping. From a young age, she was taught to be kind and not to lash out. However, she had so many words to use, and couldn't always resist a battle of wits. She practiced this most often on her father, when he would try to push away her help with his work. He worked at the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes and, on the few occasions when he would work at home, he would muse aloud on the cases he worked on. Bethany couldn't keep from hearing, and would often offer assistance, giving valid explanations for her hypotheses, which, more often than not, turned out to be correct. Her father, unwilling to be shown up by his own young daughter, would point out a fictional flaw in her idea, which led to the start of a debate. 

 

Fadran, what house/year is Terra in? As a daughter of Athena, it makes sense that she would be in Ravenclaw, but is she?
