At least, unless she first helped Honor and then switched sides [rid this forum of this post if this has been cited elsewhere]:

If Cultivation and Honor were romantically involved, why did Cultivation not help Honor against Odium?

Brandon Sanderson

She did.

I thought that this bit from Wyndel was enough to guarantee that wasn't the case.

Wyndle moved along beside Lift. “Mother has given up on your kind. I can feel it. She doesn’t care any longer. Now that He’s gone . . .”

Honor's death caused Cultivation's apparent withdrawal from humanity.

"Apparent" being the key word here.  I keep having the feeling (more accurately my own personal wish) that she is just performing a feint.  She has seen Odium's shard vs shard fighting power up close and knows it will take more than just brute force to take him out.  Keep in mind she cultivated Dalinar to specifically stop Odium's plan and make sure he wouldn't become Odium's champion.  I think she is playing the long game and the 'apparent' withdrawal is just all part of the plan.  (*Crosses fingers in hopes that there is at least one shard we get to see on screen being an actual good guy*)

@Iridium Savant your preaching to the converted her.

I don't think Wyndel is correct at all. Cultivation has her hands in everything. I think Dalinar was just the first, and both Lift and Taravangian are also her direct involvement in the old magic.

Edit:fixed a really stupid mistake.

@Calderis I'm tracking with you on Cultivation directly intervening with Dalinar and Taravangian, but how do you figure Odium into that?

*facepalm* too many thoughts in my head at once. That was supposed to say Lift, and the wires crossed.

Lol, that makes a lot more sense, but I am a little disappointed that this wasn't some spicy new theory that I hadn't heard yet :)

I'm not sure what you're trying to say by this post. Did you assume Cultivation was working against Honor or something?

I believe I'd seen speculation to this effect.

@Calderis I think our brave cultivationspren have right. But in a terrible letheral way.

Before Tanavast death, Cultivation and him cared about mortals and all.

Now without him (maybe for the pain she suffered, maybe because he was the moral compass in the couple) she don't care of mortals anymore. But this doesn't change her attitude towards Odium and the needs of smashing him.

She simply changed modus operandi and focus all his efforts to win the war with Odium.
