Soul apologizes to everyone profusely (While covertly handing Archer some money) and orders another slushi

Kalmar is glad he won.

Kalmar is upset. VERY upset. This is his second duel, out of two, where one of his lenses were broken. So he responds in turn. Kalmar attempted to ripp off that arm-band thingy that seemed to be controlling the arrow. He didn't want to destroy it however, he wanted to put it on himself.

*rolls* you are successful, mostly. You manage to grab the arm thingy, but fail to do any damage to your foe in the process, despite the awkward arm wrenching that was involved.

As Kalmar attempts to take his conjoined fabrial, Septimus punches Kalmar in the gut. The probes of his pain fabrial flare to life and send damage coursing through Kalmar. Septimus uses this as an opportunity and snaps the conjoined arrow in half.

Gut punch = - 3 (you were close enough that there was no way to get out of the way in time Kidpen)

Pain = - 12

Kalmar = 71

Septimus = 93.5

The rock glows for a second, and a portion of the seat it's sitting on morphs into a bowl of popcorn.
The rock is unable to eat so the popcorn also just sits there.

Dusty stumbles into the arena, breathing hard. He finished his homework and ran as quickly as he could to come support Blazenella.

Nei'an stumbled towards the rock. After the green mustached man had come to the cart, Nei'an ran.

Nei'an was done with mustaches.

Curious at the rock, Nei'an stole the popcorn and scrambled away, munching guiltily.

You know, thinking about this, I probably look pretty odd wearing two monocles. Keep in mind Archer, that I have more power in this one cause it's the only one I am wearing.

Kalmar, decided to do something interesting. He used his Firebringer's lenses to shoot Septimus in the eye, in order to at least partially blind him.

@PrinceDusty colour or quote your posts please.

Because of how close they are, and because no practical amount of extra speed could beat the speed of light, Kalmar hits Septimus. I'll hold off taking damage until I see Septimus' reaction. Damage will depend on how long Septimus stays in the line of fire.

Kalmar = 71

Septimus = 93.5 (damage pending)

Septimus leaps to the side, using feruchemical steel, as a laser scorches one of his eyes. Pain flares through his head. He turns his pain fabrial on reverse, helping him remain focused. He turns on his Heat Fabrial to the maximum setting, scorching Kalmar's face.

Quickly looking away, Kalmar put on his Bestower's lenses. He bestowed most of his heat on to Septimus. His head got some heat. He won't be able to hold this for too long though, and certainly won't be able to use another lens while he uses this one.

Oh, and Kalmar is being very guarding about not letting Septimus at his lenses. Just to be clear.

The best way to do that would be to put some distance between you two. But for now we'll say you've got your fists up ready to block if they try and steal your glasses again.

Septimus began to feel heat creep through his body. He quickly switched off his Heat Fabrial, and launched an arrow at Kalmar's eye. If Kalmar wanted to blind him, then he would blind Kalmar too. Hopefully he would break another lens too.

Kalmar tried to block the arrow with his hand, hopefully succeeding. His hand was now hurt, but at least he still had his lenses. Hoping he had an opportunity, he backed up quickly while shooting the Firebringer's lens into Septimus's leg. He stopped using the Bestower's lens, assuming it didn't break.

Kalmar blocks the arrow with his hand = - 6

The bestower's lens did not break.

Kalmar = 53

Septimus = 68 (damage pending, you've a better chance of dodging this one)

With Kalmar distracted Septimus easily dodged the laser using Feruchemical Steel. He dashed forward, slamming the prongs of his pain fabrial into Kalmar. The stored pain from Septimus's wounds reversed, and began to course through Kalmars body.

Slight brush with laser = - 1

Prongs are sharp = -1

Kalmar = 52 (pain damage pending depending on next action)

Septimus = 67
