Rebus frowned, realizing that Bat and Tam had disappeared from the current Thread. He smirked, and teleported to Tam. 

“Yeah…” Symbol headed up the stairs to find another layer. Some layers were behind doors and furnished as residential areas, but nobody was around any of the layers. A layer of dust coated everything. 

Rose started cutting off their legs. 

Bat had disappeared merely because a certain Author wasn’t sure what to do with him, and was too lazy to write anything out without other characters around.

Rebus looked through the dust for footprints, then sighed. “I’m not sure there is anything vital here. Do you think you could Narrate us a hang glider?” 
The zombies were holding their shields in different places, clearly trying to make sweeping attacks difficult. 
And that made sense, which was why Rebus was conspiring to get Tam to him and get his plot back on track.

Some places on the floor were scuffed and dustless. Before Symbol could respond, there was a quick whoosh and an arrow bounced off the pillar right by his head. 

A woman stepped out of the shadows. She wore a green cloak just like the girl and held a crossbow. “What are you doing here?” She demanded, alternating her aim between Symbol and Rebus.

Out in the middle of nowhere, a woman held her hand in front of her face.

”Why is it red?”

Jilu frowned, then scratched her head with the hand, watching as her hair momentarily became red. “That’s really strange.”

Behind her, her shadow watched.

He looked around.

"Hey!" he said. "Where did everyone go?"

Symbol tilted her head. "Why not? What did I do?" 

The woman just stared at her incredulously.

All the staff had vanished from the base. All that was left was a gently flashing dial on one of the control panels.

The dial had tick marks with words like "continue," "freeze," and "destroy." The button beside it was glowing as well. The dial was set to "freeze."

He indicates a large building sitting to their left, a little bit off of the main road.

Cep heads toward the building and finds a door around the side. He knocks and waits, holding the glass figure. After a minute, the door is opened by a tall woman. "Can I help you?"

Cep holds out the figure. "D'yeh happen ta know what this is?"

You got ideas for this part or you want me to just run with it?

"Ok, I understand that, but lets figure out what these do before we push a button." He pointed at the label that read Destroy, "I think we can agree we wouldn't want to hit that by accident."

You can go ahead. I have some general ideas if we get stuck, but other than that, not much. I realise we should introduce an antagonist at some point, directly or indirectly.

That's kinda what I was thinking.

"The woman glances over her shoulder, then looks around.aroundI'm afraid I don't recognize it. Have a good day!" She quickly shuts the door.

Cep turns to Taeidin. "Did summat 'bout that seem odd t'yeh? Seemed almost like she wanted ta avoid it or summat."
