Eepy pouted. He was too far away. Oh well, she'd show him she could be independent. She'd ignore him and wait until he noticed. 

Five minutes later, she climbed the wall and hugged his head. "Missed you!"

She brought Shoe and Beosta to their location.

Shoe jumped when he appeared and looked around, confused, before seeing Tam.

He walked over and pulled her into a bit hug.

How are you? It's been a little while.

She smiled. "I'm fine," she said softly. "Really. Thank you."

He nodded. Alright. Why did you bring us here?

"Oh . . . Bat's family wanted to meet you. I hope that's alright."

It's fine, I don't mind. I'm sure Beosta doesn't, either.

Beosta was a little confused, but smiled at Tam and scowled at Bat. Bat waved meekly at her. 

"Hi, Tam," Beosta said. 

Mr. Whitlock looked up and tilted his head curiously.

Snow came and hugged her legs again. It served a double purpose--- he could peek out at the big scary new people without them seeing him.

Tam gritted her teeth. He charged an entire army to try and save you. They killed him, and now they’ll kill Bat too unless I turn you in. I’m sorry. 

“It would help, yes. Perhaps we should send someone to Lady Bug so your Author cannot forget.” Rebus continued walking along the bridge, taking a left turn at a junction.
