It was definitely likely when Malan was still around, but not anymore.

Corysande fought back a smile, but it half broke through anyway, and then she snorted and laughed. She had a beautiful laugh.

Hmm… I guess Rebus is too nice (or well, not nice, but too worried about making Authors made) to try for such a thing. Though actually, trauma *jazz hands* is something most of us seem to want to play up.
