Corysande, on the other hand (hehe that rhymes), didn’t fall asleep for a long time.

Time skip?

It made me chuckle too, that’s why I included it.
It is not, though I do recall reading those at some point. It is a reference to an incident from earlier in the Thread (though that bird may have been in pencil, actually).
Reality shifted, and she was standing across from Tam. Tam wasn’t standing, though, she was hovering in the air, eyes aglow with power and wrath.

Tam quietly started paying attention to this, intrigued.

Hmm who was involved in that?

Rose sucked in a breath and stumbled back. Aw frik...

She followed, somewhat reassured. That makes sense. I suppose I should make myself less vulnerable somehow... but I don't quite feel any danger yet. I do need a plotline, though. She tilted her head at him, raising an eyebrow just a bit. If only you had substance backstory trauma.

battttttt when you have the time :D

"I had a weird dream," she said.

. . .

lol idk what that was

Holt quickly fell asleep.

He just laughed. "It's really alright! Besides, we're basically there. It's just a minute up the path."

She glared and him.

It's fine. Whatever. You don't even remember it, apparently.

Then she left with Bat.

Utility appeared in her place.

"Hello."

She nodded and ate some of the ham and eggs.

"So . . . where'd everybody else go?"

-

Alright.

She planted a small kiss on his cheek, then took them there.

They appeared on a small, snowy mountaintop. A large, nice cabin stood in front of them.

She dried them off as well.

Whenever you're ready, she said, giving him a hug.

-

Oh well :)

"Hey." Stone said, disheartened.

He nodded.

"I see. Is it really murder if she was only acting in self-defense?"

"You not remember who you were before you were killed?"

"About two minutes."

"I know some things, like pieces in a puzzle, just not how it fits together."

Eventually, they crested the ridge.

They stood just behind a sheer drop off overlooking the entire valley/plains area. It was quite the view, but I'm too tired to expound on it.

"Beautiful. What do you think?"

Tam was harassing Rose for harassing Bat - I believe both Rebus and Malevolence were around, and they were in the space warehouse preparing to fight what’s-his-name. Tam either drew a bird or made a bird Rose drew come to life, and then had it peck at her. If I recall, Rebus had a speech about messing with people sophisticatedly rather than pettily.
Tam floated higher, Narritive power swirling around her. YOU HURT BAT! HOW COULD YOU! She lifted her arms, and paper came into existence around her, swirling in the updraft such a concentration of raw power often created.
Rebus smiled. “Oh, I do have substantial trauma - my mind is simply well suited to the experience of being imagined. Each time my Author thinks about me, I can feel it, taking actions that mean nearly nothing. A normal person would go insane - perhaps I am a little insane - but as long as my characterization holds firm my Author won’t take the psychological effects of the endless loop of nothingness into account.”

Oddly, the whole vision had some portions completely out of sight from Rose, which were filled with nonsense.
