Through The Living Glass She/They Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 Just now, Kajsa said: "I got cursed too," she told him. "I got cursed too. That's why I thought I was gonna die when you gave me that flower." Oh. Oh, that was bad. That was very bad. He probably shouldn't have grown the extra-strength flowers, then. "Um . . . can you heal yourself, then?"

I've never done this one anyone else before," he said quietly, climbing down the tree and kneeling next to her. It felt weird to be this close. Really weird. In any case, he did his best to clean, disinfect, and bandage the wound with what he had, which was . . . effective, but definitely not the best. Edited March 6, 2025 by Through The Living Glass

Rebus nodded slightly. “Alright - thank you for your help. My offer still stands, but otherwise let’s go bring you back to Tam. Guilt tripping her would be amusing, and perhaps useful.” 26 minutes ago, Halcyon The Only said: She reached out and touched it. “Hi?” do you need more backstory for her or anything? The mirror began to fracture where she touched it, closing in on her. Meat is about to make her become, observe, and interact with a bunch of alternate versions of herself. Some will be character development inducing. Some will be just plain odd. So yes, backstory and/or personality aspects to emphasize could be helpful. I’m not actually sure how I’ll run this, given that I don’t have her characterization down. Unrelatedly, do you want to have the people do anything on the moon? I can have Rebus show up and show them around or something. I can also provide that character development for Bat, perhaps.

Well, it seemed good enough to her, especially once she couldn’t see herself actively bleeding out. She’d never gotten a good look at him before, and somehow it felt really… intimate. She noticed a little crease between his brows from concentration, and she also noticed how his hair was kind of curly, and how his eyes were pale like that (uh i was going off of what i remember from when u described him but please correct me if that’s inaccurate lol). He was kind of like the human rendition of nature. Gentle, centered, focused. His calmness stilled her, and though the pain lingered, the panic was less. She didn’t know how he could stay so calm in a situation like that. Then she noticed he was bleeding from his shoulders and frowned. “Are you okay?”

Maybe through the form of quests or something. Not yet though. As for Rose’s backstory, she’s scared of being helpless. Her parents were unpopular nobility, and they pushed her really hard. She didn’t hardly have any freedom. She gets aggressive when she doesn’t feel like she has control of the situation or at least a part of it. But she’s also afraid of being alone. That comes more from being dismissed so often as a child, sent to the wine cellar to wait until an event ended if she misbehaved, whatever. She yelped, scrambling backwards. 12 minutes ago, TwinStorm said: "Not... not like that." she laughed. "What's your name?" “Tacchus! For Bat, or for the various citizens? Alright. Let’s see - alone and helpless, aggressive, just like her parents, and disgraced but free. Then maybe I can throw in some other multiple-choice scenarios. The mirror mended itself, going back to the way it was. The mirror behind her, though, was certainly not the way it had been before.
