"eh atmosphere?" She had only been in the seventh grade when she died and didnt have much education past that. She took a deep breath. Mask probably not helping the lack of breath but not wanting to take it off.

Ok ok. So like.... the reason she wears the mask is cause she has scars on her face. Well one is visible on her eye. The other two are on her bridge of her nose and her cheek. Three for the three family members she thinks she failed. Her siblings and her mom. So she wears the mask to hide that. So... take that as you will.
