A face appeared in the mirror, and a voice spoke. "What would you have me do?"

Nameless frowned. I do not believe there is a Plotblade of 'Evil'. I believe Malevolence saw the Plotblade Antagonist. But his perception of The Antagonist is so wrapped up with his ideas of Evil that the evil aspects of Antagonist were all he was able to see. Either that, or the Blade itself chose to present only its purely evil side to him, in order to tempt him further.

Balitan said nothing, merely paling.

Sorry, should have been more specific in the earlier post.

So we’re racing, then. Not only racing, but competing for the attention of a Plotblade, Symbol added.

It can be comforting, too.

A woman is a flapping cape appeared behind Everet, Soliel, and Rebus. A man fell from the sky, sticking a three point landing. A few other assorted superheroes made similar entrances, inspecting the scene around them.

Oop mighta forgot abt this

Soliel clutched her sword, eyes wide. “Who are you??”

Symbol nodded. “It might be good to find a Protagonist as well, just in case worst comes to worst. It would pose some problems for you, as Antagonist’s keeper, but the plot armor against Evil may be useful, even if it is not a protagonist we can directly influence.”

“Yes. It’s practically necessary, actually. Who, though?”

“Bring me to a city either under attack or about to be. Please.”

Rebus sighed, looking regretful. “Ah. That is unfortunate - I suppose the timeline really needs to move up.” He snapped his fingers, setting his plans into motion.
@Halcyon The Only and @Through The Living GlassBat’s teleportation beacon speaks up, in Rebus’s voice. “I’m truly sorry, but I’ll need you two to do what I say. Malevolence is making a power grab, I need to beat him to it.”

Her interest was peaked, however morbid that may have been.

"How- how do you kill an Author?"

1 minute ago, Halcyon The Only said:

“Yeah…”

This crevice went quite a ways into the wall, apperently.

How far do you want to go?

“Simple. Your group are the closest thing to current protagonists the Thread has; the other plotlines exist, yes, but they are barely within the Thread.”

Technically that other conversation was from earlier

aaaaaand well we can have those happening at the same time

She sighed.

Rebus . . . find someone else. Please.

The Priest smiles reassuringly. "It is perfectly fine to be uncertain. Even those who have not died, returned, and had two supernatural beings stuck in their head often struggle with romance. So do not be worried overmuch. There is no 'right' way to court someone, although there are many wrong ways. You can figure it out." His eyes narrow. "As for you Cade and... Seraphina? Don't push them. There are few stressors that can ruin a budding romance so easily as clumsy outside intervention. Considering that you two are inside Asher's head, you have the potential to be far more damaging than any matchmaking friend or family member ever could be. Do not try to force them into a relationship. You can encourage, certainly. But allow them to figure things out by themselves."

Fineeeeee. Whatever.

takes notes. Ahem what….

Asher nods. Hating this topic but it needs to be talked about. “So… pyk… do… you feel… the same way?” She asks nervously

They opened the double doors of a large hall— not a far cry from a ballroom. Arches led the way into two conjoined rooms, making a triangle of bright rooms full of colorfully dressed and distinguished-looking guests. Over by the larger, more lavish outside door, Rose stood with her father and another woman, presumably her mother, greeting guests. Rose didn’t appear to say much, though, and her parents barely acknowledged her.

She wore a long, flowing dress the color of her namesake with makeup to match. Her hair had been braided into an exquisite crown laced with tiny white pearls.
