He sat at his desk, head in his arms. Why was he so exhausted? He hadn't done anything crazy the last few days, and had barely drunk anything, but had a crushing headache and felt terrible. At last, he sighed, and climbed into bed, closing his eyes.

Ye

Rose woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. She swore, then staggered out of bed and into the kitchen.

She smiled. "That's good."

She shrugged. "Sneak in?"

“Thank you.”

-

“Eh… I guess. It’s a residential home, though.”

My character is Tam :P

Castle in the middle of somewhere

Teleporting in and out has been Narratively prohibited though, I believe 🤔

What about...

Falling

Through the roof

In a completely not teleporty magic or narration way

. . . Well, no, it's not 😂

Ryss fell through the sky for the second time.

He hit the roof with a dull thud, not breaking through this time.

That hurt.

ton.

Then he stood up and dusted himself off. Because he figured introductions were necessary and he didn't want to be beheaded for disrespecting whoever's roof this was.

A young woman with blonde hair looked at him, surprised. She was kneeling next to another young woman, who was laying on the ground.

". . . Hello? Are you okay?"

Ryss grunted. "Fine. Just got stabbed through the chest and fell through the sky after descending from being an author." He flinches, clutching his side.

She blinked and got into a defensive stance.

"What?"

"What do you mean what? I wasn't very secretive. I was just stabbed though the chest, and fell through the sky. Well, after was relative. The descending from authorship was a side effect of the being-stabbed-in-the-chest-by-my-former-author."

No, he said he had an Author . . .

"You're a Narrator?"

She nodded. "Of course. I told you I just wanted to help, Ruia."

She turned to Rebus. "May I leave, now?"

-

"Still suspicious."

“Symbol,” she corrected.

"I was a guy, once. Now I'm a once-author. Not the Once-Author, he's the one who stabbed me in the chest. I'm not sure if he died in the process but I think he may be back up there doing his author-y things. I tried to kill him, ya know. But he was dang resilient. But yeah, you could say I'm an Author of sorts."
