Not- not even my Author could fix me at this point, if she tried," she laughed bitterly, exhausted. "I wouldn't be me anymore." She sniffed. "I don't think she ever meant for you to fix me, I think she just wanted you to help me move on. Grow, I guess." She took some more deep breaths, finally calming down. "If anything . . . she probably meant for us to help each other." Yeah, that felt right.
