I thought you were a historian. The voice sounded mildly disappointed. I didn't 'end up' this way. My Author created me this way. I'm a copy, not meant to be active unless there's a great threat to the Thread.

She was mostly just creeped out, but at least he was trying . . . right?

"I'm not going to touch you," she said quickly. "I just want you to try touching my hand- just a tap with your finger. Can you try and do that for me, please?"

“I am a scientist, though I am trying to get around to reading the major plot. During the duel of Platypus and Subversion, you were activated then left stranded in some sort of dream world with the Creation power. Then other things happened and I lost the plot.” He shrugged. “The original you is dead, and the core of you somehow teleported to his lab. That probably explains why you missed Madness, Desolation, and Ruia. The fact you were directly Author-created implies I have some negotiating to do.”

What if the city's just used to danger of some kind
