They all climbed into the jeep, including Ria, and off they went. Aden was driving again.

Starlight sat, watching out the window without saying a word. Thinking about his experience in conditioning, but didn’t know why

"It would probably not destroy the sample. I can't say for certain, but from my studies, Prismite doesn't seem very volatile."

Other than the chisel gaining a divot in its edge, there was no effect.

Rose was sleeping peacefully on top of her bedsheets.

The little machine that had been on her wrist was just below her elbow, now, and all the tattoos on her forearm were gone.

Five wrapped her blanket around herself. The light here was calmer, warmer. Steady. Everything just flowed past. It was… nice.
