Oh. Thanks . . . I like it too.

She rolled onto her back and pawed at the blanket.

It always feels kinda weird at first, y'know?

Yeah. But it’s fun!

He decided to see how small he could curl up. Turns out it was very small.

She laughed and did the same.

Squish.

Squish!!

He poked his nose out and sniffed in the air. I smell something yummy.

Merely to speak with somebody involved. Preferably somebody high up.

The shadowy figure stands there, presumably making facial expressions. “You have done this. I am the Ghost, leader of the Machination.”

The brave adventurer steels himself. "I'm ready."

"How about the Machination?" Unintelligible carefully avoids looking at Aelinor. "They don't seem to be a single person, but perhaps we could meet with some of their members. Safer than Desolation."

Meat’s nose comes back into existence on the other side of the brave adventurer. “All left go. The noses know.”

"Is this... part of my test?" The brave adventurer looks confused.

Bacon peered at the disk. "Why, that doesn't look like a frisbee at all! In fact, its aerodynamic properties seem unsuitable for game-playing."

"Yes, but if we are to be musketeers... the Three Musketeers were French, were they not?"

I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about, said the ennuller loftily, turning to 656 to lead her away.

"I take payment of your fate. A choice that you make, an event in your future. Perhaps even your ultimate end."

I'm confuzzled.

So proud of you guys! 💙 :D

"oooh i dunno."

She sniffed at the air also.

. . . I don't smell anything.

I do!

He hopped off the couch and scurried out of the fort. After a minute, he spoke again.

It’s a bug! And it tasted good!!

“Wonderful.”

They stood on the crag of a cliff overlooking a gloomy sea. A dark forest loomed behind them.

“I probably don’t have much time to talk. But I believe your organization may be of use to me, and I would be glad to be so in turn.”

“Nope, he was simply my cousin. Power is useful and loops. Side effects are not from the front. But my nose is, so do the thing!”

The Ghost continues not moving much. “Good. What do you need, and what will you pay?”

Ew, Bat, WHAT?!

She ran over.

That's disgusting!!

He was stoat-grinning at her and pranced up onto one of the chairs. It was good! My mom always says eating a couple bugs never did anyone any harm, anyway.

“I need my brother killed, and I’ll pay you in as much Nullite as you’d like.”

But that's disgusting! Why would you eat a bug on purpose?!

Now I know what it’s like!

Plus, bats eat bugs, so I’m obligated to do it at least once.

Bat grinned. "I'll go get the couches, if you want!"

Why thank you, I'm quite proud :D

Good thing. Yes.

The forest beyond was rather loud. Many crickets chirped from the trees and wouldn't shut up despite how light it was Birdcalls cheerfully rang through the forest as well, and orderly glowing mushrooms lit the pathway.

@#1 Taln Fan and I think @Dragonheir

Cadweyn climbed a tree and starts jumping from tree to tree gracfully.

Like Rayla, from Dragon Prince.

He skittered around her in a circle. I know! But I was hungry and it was good!

“Understood.” The shadowy figure offers a piece of paper, containing those very words. “Sign this, and consider it done.”

It’s getting much more difficult to write nonsense now that I’m not sick, but I think I’ve done a good job.

She frowned. “Name an amount first.”

The Ghost seems to smile. “An amount of pure Nullite valued equal to one and a half times expenses, without trickery through economic manipulation or unnecessary use of valuable resources.”

Her lips pressed into a thin line. “Fine.”
