The small person waved back, giggling.

She followed them quietly.

She sat down, the still wearing the coat as well as the blanket.

Bat sat on the hay bale next to her and eased the coat off her near arm. "Cricket, you sit down too, okay?" He pulled out a small elastic thingie and tied it around her forearm.

The Constant sighed as he realized what had happened, then gave a small explanation. It would be what the man was here for, judging by his reaction.

“I’m not like other life forms,” he started, staring at the man.

@xinoehp512
Tenth had forgotten where he was.

sorry, over break I was kinda bad.

Sagerian jots that down. “Nor am I, I have heard. Though I suspect you mean something other than bipedalism.”

No you're fine 😂

He felt down her arm and found a vein. "Rax, your veins are nice," he approved. "Nice and clean." He pulled out a syringe.

"What? Thank you?" she laughed, "What does that even mean?"

"It means it'll make this easy for me! You're not squeamish about needles, right?"

"Ohhhh, okay. And yeah, I'm fine."

He nodded, concentrated, and drew her blood. He emptied the syringe into a little bottle, then bandaged her arm and removed the elastic.

"Okay, Cricket," he said. He scrawled Tam's name on the bottle.

I mean I don't think that's where their power comes from so probably nothing

Eeehhhhh

Depending on the Ennuller, they might have become on by Nullite poisoning, meaning traces of Nullite are present in the blood, so with enough…

The Constant laughed softly. “I don’t… I don’t change. I can’t die, and when I am hurt… it just… doesn’t matter to me.”

He shifted.

”This has been unsettling, but it is not the most ‘useful’ part of my powers. You see, when any of my genetic material enters the system of any other person, they… they change. It takes over. Not the mind… but it might. The person gains all of my abilities, and if I exert myself, I can,” he shrugs, “control them. And if they are willing, the genetic material takes over their mind completely. They become one very similar to me, but slightly different.”

“Now, we can hopefully get some rest.”

Gaioh ducked under the table and waved before they left.

"Thanks," Bat said once she left them. Then he turned to Tam and Cricket. "Okay, sit down."

He sighed, sitting down.

Well, but that happened to Shoe, and after a day there wasn't any in his blood, remember?

Oh wow

okay

so it weird magic poison is corrupting his powers and it can be healed by either a complete purge of his system or by mashed up dragon bones (idk, I just invented it here and now) broth. It’s corrupting his powers and slowly killing him.

”Yes?” he asked, nervously.
